My name is Annette, I live on Pennythorne Drive in Yeadon. I care for children under five so no school runs. I am married with two sons, who don't live at home. I have been a childminder for eighteen years and I love my job. I like the fact that I am able to give children a caring and comforting fun filled environment learning through play.
We enjoy baking, musical instruments, playdough, painting, water play, singing and exploring outside.
I have a well resourced playroom and living room with plenty of age appropriate toys, books and activities.
Healthy eating is promoted, vegetarian, gluten, milk free etc diets catered for.
I received a 'good' grade at my last inspection.

I include outside play in my routine daily, park play, nature walks, even in not so good weather for a buggy sleep/walk.
I like to think that with settling in sessions that your transition back to work will be a happy one for you and your child, settling in is important and I'm happy to be flexible.
Nine month old funding available term after, term time funding.
Two year old funding can be claimed for 15 hours a week term time.
The term after your child is three you can claim 15/30 hours funding to use at my setting.
My Experience
I enjoy being able to offer a homely and friendly environment, learning through play following the Early Years Foundation Stages.
I have recently made the decision to care for early years children only which has benefited the setting in that we do not have the distraction of school runs and enduring the bad weather unless we choose to!
I keep up to date with compulsory training such as safeguarding and First Aid, and also attend lots of ongoing training.

Registered for 2 year, and 3/4 year funding.(15/30 hours per week, or split with nursery)
