Hi there,
I am a qualified teacher with many years experience teaching GCSE English in Further Education Colleges. I have also tutored IGCSE and achieved high grades with my students.
I have a degree from the University of Oxford and am an examiner for AQA in GCSE English Language.
I am based in Kentish Town, North London and am happy to accept students in my own home and online.
GCSE is my primary area of expertise, but I am also happy to tutor for the 11 plus and can assist secondary age students who need help with English. I am a whizz with grammar and have experience of preparing Year 6 students for SATs.
I am passionate about my subject and am a kind and supportive teacher.
My Experience
I have worked in colleges for 15 years and also taught a significant number of students privately. A number of my students have gone on to achieve very high grades. I am also a parent of 3 teenage boys!
My Qualifications
I have a degree in English from the university of Oxford and a PGCSE and MA from the Institute of Education (UCL).
I have recently been awarded Advanced Teacher Status by the Education and Training Foundation.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
£40 per hour online and £50 face to face for tuition.
I am happy to accept cash or bank transfer.
