About Us
Dunkys Day Nursery is located within the Sankey Bridges area of Warrington. Situated under the `Pink Eye`, as it is known locally. The nursery previously was a public house and hotel and has been transformed into a state of the art nursery whilst keeping some of the buildings special and unique features. The building is very spacious indoors, registered for 55 children on the ground floor and it boasts an extensive garden area. We are open from 8am to 6pm 51 weeks of the year except for bank holidays.
The nursery has the highest standard of security including state of the art Biometric fingerprint door access and CCTV cameras within all rooms. The nursery caters for children from 0-5 year’s, we offer term time only and shift rota contracts for all age groups. The nursery has a large baby room, toddler room and preschool room all with direct access to the spacious outdoors. Our rooms are very comfortable and equipped with lots of soft furnishings where the children can relax and spend quality time making new friends and learning new skills in the stimulating and educational environment. We encourage children’s independence and we regularly consult with children to ensure their
involvement in making decisions and having choices about their rooms, equipment and activities. Our garden is fully secure with a large bricked wall around the perimeter.
Our curriculum is based on each individual child and their stage of development as well as their current interests. Staff can identify the characteristics of effective learning to ensure an enriched environment to support every child’s learning style. We have two qualified teachers that work full time, all year round.
We offer a wide range of opportunities such as creative and messy play, sensory play, baking, understanding of the world, imaginative play and role play, problem solving reasoning and numeracy, information and communication technology and much more.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £43.00 per morning
- Childcare from £43.00 per afternoon
- Childcare from £63.00 per day
- Childcare from £315.00 per week
- Childcare from £1,260.00 per month
All of our fees are inclusive of all baby consumables including nappies, formula milk and sun cream and all meals are inclusive in the fees.
We offer a range of flexible options to meet your family needs including term time only contract, shift patterns, school hours, half days, full days and hourly rates. We also offer free places for two, three and four year olds, including the 30 hours funding for 3 and 4 year olds.. Please contact the nursery for more information.
All NHS employees receive a 5% discount on proof of their NHS card.
The price for a full day (8.00am - 6.00pm) is £63 and short day (9am-3pm) subject to availability is £55.00.
We also offer extra hours (up to 3 hours) at an additional £7.50 per hour.
