About Me
Hi my name is Lia and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in the Bingley area. I live with my husband and 2 girls aged 8 and 16, having two children of my own I understand the importance of finding the right childcare to suit yours and your little ones individual needs.
I run a home from home setting where all children are cared together in a caring environment with rich learning opportunities and outings to enjoy new places and social skills.
At home we often speak Italian so your little one might also pick up some new words while here....
All our days are varied and very child led....we have a lovely outdoor area that children can use all year round.
Lots of different activities are available for them to enjoy ....we also venture to playgroups, the library , farms , parks and other often meet up with other childminders, sensory rooms, farms and lots of picnics when the weather is good !!!!!
I also offer babysitting in your own home or if attending wedding/holidays or hotel childcare. Please contact me for further information
My Experience
I have worked in education for the last 15 years and have worked alongside the Nurture provision team for children aged 5 to 11.
I have been a childminder for over 7 years and I have worked with children for many years.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 in teaching and learning, Peadiatric first aid, safeguarding, speech and language experience, behaviour management training , prevent duty, child protection training and more!! I care for babies and children of any age

My daily fee is £50.00 7.30am to 5.00pm

Lia took our little girl on really interesting outings, and lots of local playgroups. She was really accommodating with things like our daughter's diet. We also loved that the family are bi-lingual.
Lia was always easy to reach and gave us good warning of any changes etc.

Our little girl struggled to settle with previous childminder, so we were pleasantly surprised when she settled in so quickly with Lia.
Lia took our little girl on outings to the library, farm etc which was fantastic, she wasn't just stuck in a baby room, she was out exploring the world.
Lia would send us updates/pictures of their day, which was always lovely to see/read.
Would highly recommend Lia, absolute superstar.

Terrible communication skills I messaged this lady a few days ago she read my message and still has not responded did not even have the decency to respond and say I’m not available on them dates I liked her profile so I messaged her but unfortunately her attitude stinks!!

We were in the area for a weekend wedding. Lia babysat two nights for our 2, 5 and 7yr old. She was great with the girls who loved her and were very comfortable staying with her. Thanks Lia!

Lia has been amazing. My little boy was upset at first when I left him, as most children are. But Lia was very reassuring and it didn't take him long to settle in. Lia is always friendly, very caring and reassuring.

I can not rate this lady high enough.. after struggling for months with another childminder that my children hated and was real hard work found this amazing lady!!
Both my boys love going to her and have an amazing time when they are there, my eldest even asks to go when he doesn't need too!!
She constantly send updates throughout the day of their progress and puts any worries I have ever had to rest. I trust her implicitly.
After the struggle I had and the stress it caused me and my family with our previous childminder I was so nervous about putting them with someone new but right from the start she made us feel at ease. Thank you so much for being so brilliant Lia. Simply cant thank you enough!

As a childcare worker myself I looked at many child minders and wasn’t happy for different reasons when leaving after a show around. Lia on the other hand was just lovely and fab from the moment me and my partner took our 5 month old baby boy. He has been with Lia from about 6/7 months old due to work. He attends 3 days a week, quite long days and is always happy when he sees her open the door. He has built an amazing bond with all of the family and I can honestly say he loves them all to pieces and we can see they love him too. She updates us regularly on his day and sends us daily photos which we love. He is allergic to dairy which has never been a problem for Lia as she still includes him in all meal times and cooking activities just adapting everything so he can have it. She takes all the children out every single day to different groups/walks/play activities and then spends an afternoon at home playing, getting messy or having snuggles (as my little boy loves a cuddle). Nothing has ever been an effort for her as we can tell the passion she has for working with children just comes naturally to her. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Lia is an amazing child minder, nothing is ever too much for her, my child loves going and even asks to go when he's not due to be there!
Her home is welcoming and great facilities, she takes him out to playgroups so I know he's having a lot of fun.
I couldn't recommend Lia enough 😊
