My Summary

My Experience

In 2018-19 I volunteered at Oldham College in the Functional Maths class and then went on to be a private Maths tutor, tutoring locally with GCSE Maths. I volunteer with Oldham Council as a English tutor for English as a second language. In 2006-8 I worked as a volunteer classroom assistant at East Crompton St Georges in Year 1 & 2 (age 6 to 8 years), helping with the lower level learners in their English & Maths classes, listening to them read, marking spelling. I also helped the teacher with class work preparation inc. typing; photo-copying; laminating, tidying up, supervising at breaks etc.

I am academically very qualified (Higher than degree level) & would be able to help a child with certain subjects, especially Maths up to GCSE.

As a younger person I regularly babysat for several families in High Crompton for over 5 years. During the summer break from Poly I worked on a USA childrens summer camp as was responsible for around 25 children with a co-worker. I have been around friends & family with children and find I enjoy playing and being around them. I am quite arty, use to be sporty and could help a child with their homework & socially.

My Qualifications

B.A Hons Degree in Accountancy with O Levels in Maths & English, all 3 sciences & a total of 9 mainly grade B. Recently refreshed my GCSE in Maths (grade A)
