The best there is!

Jenny has been childminding our son since February 2024 and she has him 4 days a week.

We had enrolled our son into a nursery from the moment we knew we were having a baby. Sadly he had a rocky start with a few health issues, and we knew from then on we wanted that extra loving touch for him. We interviewed and searched high and low for the right childminder in the right location but just never felt we found the right fit. We had provisionally signed up to a childminder but still dreaded sending him so we carried on looking and stumbled across Jenny’s profile.Jenny was living at the time in Ashford but was soon to be moving around the corner, a month before we needed our son to start.
Everything seemed to line up and we booked a visit in. From the moment we met jenny we just knew she was the ‘one’ and we are so glad we stuck to our parent intuition to find her!! ‘a parent always knows’

she had a massive smile on her face, she asked to give our son a cuddle and asked about his character and wanted to check not only it was right the choice for us, but also the right fit for her and her family too. I knew then she was a caring mother! She talked us through a typical day, told us about all the adventures she had with her past children and made us feel at ease.There was no pressure to ‘sign’ up it all just felt very natural.

From the moment he started with her he has been extremely settled and happy in her home and smiles when I hand him over to her. In the beginning he wasn’t really eating or in a routine at home and was quite weak, within a few weeks/ months of being there he has developed massively not only in confidence but in his gross motor skills such as crawling and walking, feeding himself, babbling and learning to interact with the other children in her setting.

He now loves eating and Jenny provides home cooked healthy meals from scratch no fast food or pouches - which he loves to eat and was important to us. She also provides healthy snacks such as fruit and rice cakes if he is exceptionally hungry or keen to eat what the older children are eating. I am also aware that she ensures good personal hygiene in encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after playing outside.

Jenny has not only looked after our son but also myself and my partner! There have been a few visits to hospital for since he started and she has always checked in on him, visited him in hospital, given us advice when asked, given us regular updates when he has gone back to her setting after a week or so off ( knowing that we were worried about him) checked his temperature regularly for us, just the extra touch we were looking for and knew he would need! When he is hurt or feeling under the weather I know that he feels happy to be comforted by her and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety.

She has always been very flexible especially on the days we’ve rushed to pick him up early when we can, by letting us know when he’s ready or trying to feed him a little earlier so we can have those extra special evenings with him!

On top of all the love and care she gives him he has most amazing adventures ! visits to the farm, Windsor castle, various parks, playgroups, Chessington, wisely, arts and crafts and in the summer lots of paddling in the water in a safe environment She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know he has recently enjoyed sand and water play, drawing and sticking, reading and puzzles as well as outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks and walks in the woods.

She is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining our sons confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home.


All in all I am extremely happy with the level of care our son receives from Jenny and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self-assured, loving little boy.

I would absolutely recommend Jenny as a great, professional, fun, caring and reliable childminder and we are so grateful to have found her after searching high and low!

The most wonderful childminder ❤️

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a caring and nurturing childminder for our son. From the moment he started at 11 months old, it was evident that Jenny poured her heart into every interaction and activity. Her kindness and attention to detail made every day a joy for our son.
We were continually impressed by the thoughtfulness she put into every aspect of his care, from the fun and engaging activities to the nutritious meals and snacks she prepared. It's heartwarming to see our son thriving under her guidance.
Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend Jenny to any parent seeking a loving and enriching environment for their child. She truly is a gem, and we're grateful for the positive impact she has had on our son.

Would highly recommend

My daughter has been with Jenny since she was 1yrs old. Being my first baby I was extremely nervous and anxious. As soon as I met Jenny I was instantly sold on her warm, caring and kind nature. I knew my daughter was going to be in safe hands and I was not wrong. Jenny takes the children to all sorts of fun and exciting places and encourages learning in a fun way. She sends daily updates via pictures, which absolutely makes my day, seeing my daughter so happy and cared for. Jenny is very flexible, very understanding and accommodating with new milestones.
I would highly recommend Jenny.

fantastic caring person.

Jenny is an amazing childminder, she has been looking after my first born like he is her own. I was so nervous and worried about leaving my boy to go back to work but Jenny really helped with the process. My son is so happy and settled with Jenny. She does the most amazing activities, events and outings with the children and they have an amazing time. They are out and about to all sorts of places and also have great fun in the home setting.
She is such a kind, caring and thoughtful person. I love getting all the picture updates of what they get up to during the day. Her energy and enthusiasm is boundless and she is very reliable and consistent. She knows my son so well and the care that she gives him is amazing. I have learnt so much from Jenny and I am so so grateful to her for being such an amazing carer for my son. Jenny's commitment and dedication is incredible and I am grateful every day that my son is so well looked after when I'm at work.

A Wonderful Childminder

My daughter was ten months old when I went back to work and I was extremely anxious. When I met Jenny I knew instantly that she would be our childminder as she is reassuring, calm and patient. I asked a lot of questions before my daughter started full time and Jenny never made me feel like my questions were silly. Everyday my daughter is with her I know that she is being loved and cared for. Jenny is an exceptional childminder, who goes well beyond what I had expected. She puts her heart and soul into what she does: Jenny takes the children on trips; she buys them gifts and she teaches them about the world in fun and exciting ways. I would never want to send my child anywhere else. My daughter’s confidence has developed infinitely and she loves going to Jenny’s house because there are always activities taking place. I cannot thank Jenny enough for everything that she has done. She has been, and continues to be, a huge influence in my daughter’s life and we both love her to pieces!
