About Me

My name is Jade, I am 29 years old, mother of a 9 year old girl and live in the borough of Haringey

I have been practising as an Early Years Practitioner since 2015, working with children between the age of 3 months to 5 years.

I am currently a full-time Early Years Practitioner in an amazing outstanding nursery in central London, working with babies between the age of 4 months to 15 months; Monday to Friday.

Working in the Early Years industry is how I got into babysitting due to the trust I created with the children and their parents I liaise with daily. These opportunities have also allowed me to build up my clientele through them recommending my services to their friends and family.

I have the following relevant certificates:

- DBS certificate
- Level 3 award in Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis

For first time services, I would prefer to spend 30 to 60 minutes (at no cost) to introduce myself to parents and the child(ren) as it is important for all parties to create a bond and trust first that we can build upon.

A child seeing their Mum/dad communicating with their potential babysitter, having a little laugh as well as the child being able to interact with their potential babysitter will create that sense of trust and lower the possibility of stress caused by separation from mum/dad going out.

In addition, this allows myself to understand the child(ren), acknowledge any special requirements and become familiar with any routines.

I have a UK full licence and owe a car; therefore I am happy to drive to other areas.
