My Summary
About Me
I have been a Registered Childminder since 2003. I'm married with two children over the age of 18 years, and live in very close proximity to Grange Park Primary School from which I drop off and collect. I am available Monday to Friday and generally work from 8am until 5.30pm but am flexible. During term time I attend playgroups, libraries, art & messy play sessions, play parks and soft play areas regularly and in school holidays I take the children on lots of outings to Farms, Museums, local beaches and parks etc.
My daughter Ellie, who is 23 years old, is working with me as my Registered Assistant. Ellie completed an Apprenticeship as an Early Years Educator and gained her Level 3 certificate.
I am part of a Childminding Network with two other Registered Childminders who act as my Emergency cover.
As a commissioned childminder, I am also able to offer the 15 hours free childcare to 2,3 and 4 year olds (subject to eligibility).
My Experience
My experience covers babies from 5 weeks old to children of secondary school age. I have cared for children with special dietary needs, diabetes, autism and other special needs and pride myself on having excellent working relations with all my families.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 in Childcare Practice. My Paediatric First Aid certificate is renewed every 3 years. I have also completed training and have certificates in Safeguarding, Food Safety, Prevent, Managing Medication and many more.
My Availability
At present I have availability for all age groups.
I drop off and collect at Grange Park Primary School, Sunderland.
