About Me
Hi my name is Deanne and I'm 47years of age. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have spaces avaliable. My last inspection in September 2024 was graded GOOD in all areas. I am married and have a son who is 10 years old. I have older children who no longer live at home but visit often. I live in the area of Chelmsley Wood within a few minutes walk from the town centre.I have years of experience looking after others and I would like to help your little ones to do the same and help them to grow into independent little children that are ready for school whilst offering them a variety of toys that will help them to grow but also to have fun.I attend playgroups two/ three times a week to encourage all children to play with other children. I have a dedicated playroom but also use my kitchen for arts and crafts and eating snacks. I have an outdoor area that children use in all weathers.
I have been childminding now for 8 years and love my job.
I really enjoy seeing the children grow and sharing their special wow moments with me. I love them creating their own little masterpieces when we do arts and crafts.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery before and also worked with older children and adults with physical and learning disabilities for many years.
My Qualifications
I have a Home-based child-minding course Level 3
First aid 12hrs paediatrics course
Level 2,3,4 in care. Registered Managers Award
Safeguarding and child protection level 3
I have many online training courses that I’ve taken since starting childminding.
My Availability
I will be working Monday-Thursday 0730-1730 pm and a friday 0730-1630pm. If you need different hours then please ask me.
I offer term time only contracts too and no retainer fees throughout school holidays . I offer 9month funding, 2years funding and 3/4 year funding.
I am available to do school runs to and from Bishop Wilson and Windy Arbor school in Chelmsley Wood.
I also work school holidays too.
I have an assistant that also helps me with the schools runs.

Deanne used to look after my kids when they were little and I had to go back to work and we absolutely loved everything about her and her setting.
Both kids currently attend the setting before and after school as I couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else. There's always so much going on in there. They absolutely love going to the park, being in Deanne's big and well equipped garden, doing different activities with their friends there.
One of the most important things for me is also the fact that my kids can still go to after school clubs at school as there's an assistant within the setting who can always pick them up and bring them to the setting.
I just want my kids to feel safe and happy and they always feel this way under Deanne's care.

My 2 year old was traumatised as we have tried the nursery and on her settling visit they just took her away from me while I was trying to explain to her what’s happening. Needless to say we didn’t go back there! I decided to try again with Deanne and I am so happy that I did ! We had two visits on our own to make my daughter comfortable with Deanne and her house. Then we set a plan for her starting. She went today for her first hour on her own and while there were some tears she calmed down quickly and actually told me that she wants to go back tomorrow! Deanne is amazing with children, her house it warm and welcoming and I know that my child is in safe, loving hands!

Deanne is kind, trustworthy and great with my 2 years old son. She loves working with the children, and I see this manifest in her communication skills and creative ideas for activities. She keeps the children occupied and most importantly, safe. My son love to go to Deanne and I can see that he has developed a lot.

My son has been with Deanne for just over 12 months now, and he loves it.
When he started I was apprehensive of leaving him as he was still so young but Deanne put my mind at rest and seeing how happy he was made it easier.
When he is with Deanne they are always doing something from playgroup, to going to the park and the days are filled with lots of fun.
My son had health concerns and was slightly delayed and Deanne always works with me to get him where he needs to be.
Deannes home is warm and welcoming and the children are always smiling.
I’m always kept updated with what my he has done.
When it comes to home time he never wants to leave.
I can’t rate Deanne enough she is amazing, and you can 100% see she loves what she does and even more so the children love her.

My son has been going to deannes for 5 months now and absolutely loves it there, she's brilliant with him and makes sure he has a fun filled day, you can tell deanne loves what she does as the results speaks for themselves, my son was a quiet 1 and a half year old now his a bubbley nearly 2 year old who progress has excelled with the help of deanne.
