Welcome all parents
My name is Dagmara, and I am an Ofsted registered childminder who lives in Leighton Buzzard.I have recent Pediatric First Aid course and CRB check as well as level 3 for home based childcare.
I offer a safe, nurturing environment where your child can learn, play, and most of all – have fun! Parents can be assured that their child will be stimulated, well cared for, and happy.
My childminding practice ensures that all the children will be given the chance to develop positive attitudes to differences of race, culture, gender, language, and ability. I provide a range of toys and activities that reflect diversity and help children appreciate and value each other’s similarities and differences. Opportunities will be provided for the children to explore their own culture and other people’s cultures.
I will ensure that your child is developing through play to their full potential whilst at my setting and will get the best care possible.I organise plenty of activities for children from arts and crafts, outdoor play to weekly trips to the farm . We attend local play groups and organise play dates with other childminders as well to develop children’s social skills.
I offer a flexibility of service that is difficult to find in other childcare provisions like nurseries. Because I look after small groups of children, my daily routine is very adaptable. My flexibility makes me an ideal care provider for children whose parents work shifts.
Being cared for by a childminder gives your child the opportunity to learn from real–life experiences. Everyday activities like shopping trips, school runs, family mealtimes, and visits to the park teach children valuable life skills that may not be acquired so readily in centre–based care. These activities also educate children about their local environment and community. I work closely in partnership with parents, and my main aim is your child development and security.

My children (3) and (6) have been in Dagmara’s setting now for 3 years. She has truly provided a home away from home for them during that time and they have been so happy to go every day.
Dagmara has a beautiful house with a large garden, in which she sets up engaging and structured activities to keep the children entertained. Her creative ideas are second to none and my son really enjoys the mixture of wooden toys, water play and crafts that she offers.
Dagmara takes the children on a wide variety of days out to country parks, the zoo and the farm which both of my children have thoroughly enjoyed.
Dagmara is a truly lovely person, she clearly cares deeply for each of the children in her care and I know we will keep in contact. My son often starts the day asking “Are we going to Mara’s house today?” So I know he will miss her deeply.

I cannot praise Dagmara enough. She has taken care of my daughter from the age of 4 months to 4 years old. She is such a peaceful, child oriented, organised carer. Her setting is calm, clean and full of creative and fun activities. My daughter has absolutely thrived in her care, and is more than ready for school thanks to the great grounding, stimulation and play based learning experiences Dagmara has provided. Her communication and handover routines are so reassuring, and I can tell that this Dagmara is committed to her profession. It will be very sad to say goodbye in September when my daughter starts school, but there will be an opening for another very lucky parent. Don't hesitate to enquire, Dagmara and her family are one in a million.

Dagmara is a brilliant childminder. The children always look forward to seeing her and enjoy their many trips. Baking are one of their favourite activities. The environment she offers is happy, stimulating and safe. Highly recommend.
