My Summary

My Experience

I have experienced working in private nurseries, local authority run nurseries and children centres. During my time I have been a room leader and key person working with ages from 3 months to 5 years. I have now been a registered childminder for nearly 2 years.

Over the years I have gained strong knowledge of the EYFS and really understand how to provide rich learning environments for children. I have also worked with and supported children with Down syndrome, autism, deaf children and children with speech and language delays. I have run language groups and used makaton to help support children with their early communication. I believe that children learn best through play and by being in stimulating environments. Children need to feel safe and secure in their surroundings to thrive.
I will provide a nurturing and supportive environment. I am passionate about being outdoors and exploring the natural world. I have strong knowledge in how to extend interests and how to provide opportunities to scaffold children’s learning. I have a safe outdoor space and I plan to visit local parks, forests, nature walks. I plan to attend stay and play sessions and singing and rhyme and the local library every week.

I have advanced child protection training, paediatric first aid training
Food safety
Forest school trained
Makaton trained

My Availability

I am available Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30AM and 5:30 flexible if needed

• Childminding from £5.50 per hour
