About Me
Hello my name is Sarah, I am 34 yrs old and currently working in a school, in Nursery/Reception, foundation stage. I love working with children and always have done since the age of 18. I enjoy the experience of working with children and they joy everyday brings.
When on maternity leave a began to help nanny another little boy. As a Nanny and parent We loved to go to local social groups, such as rytheme time, sensory social, all great oppertunitys to interact with other children as it is great for their development, and would love this to continue, permission granted. We also love to visit farms/zoos/garden centres to learn about the world around us!
I have a full clean driving licence so we can get about. I also have friends who are childminding/nannying so have a good social group for children.
A have a current, up-to date DBS through my employer.
Recently paediatric first aid trained (2021).
Rate of pay can be discussed in relation to hours/distance
My Experience
My first job was working in a private day (Montessori) care nursery. I worked there while doing my childhood and youth studies degree, i then joined the team again for a second time after finishing my degree. I worked there for a year before my current employment. Ive had experience working with children ages 2 - 10 with a wide range of abilities. I enjoy working with all ages, being silly with littlies, n been academic with older ones. Just returned to a nursery nurse role in reception.
Both job roles included:
Planning of fun interactive learning
SEN work (individual planning to needs)
Profiles of development using EYFS
General care of children
Keeping learning areas hygienic/clean
Cooking healthy meals
I have also recently nannied for a family with 2 two children, which both Oscar and I really enjoyed and gained a lot from! (Reference available on request)
My Qualifications
Ive got a btech National Diploma in early years and a BA, honours degree in childhood and youth studies.
First aid

My Availability
I am available most week nights after 4, and most weekends, with enough notice (as i sometimes travel down south to visit the in laws).
Looking for either full time Nanny role (from 3+days)Or evening babysitting roles.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
fees can be negotionable, depending in distance and times.
Baby sitting starts from £10ph + £3 for first siblings. Minimum of 3hrs
Nanny/nursery nurse £15ph minimum of 4 or £70 for full day (8hrs) for up-to 2 children.

sarah provided my 2 children with temporary childcare for 3 months. She was incredibly flexible and helpful and always fitted in around our needs. her little boy came too which was great as my 20 month old had a play mate. nothing was too much trouble for sarah and as a result my children were really happy.... then so was I! I'd highly recommend sarah as a nanny or babysitter.
