My name is karen fallon I have a level 5 health and social care qualification and have a valid DBS.
I have years of experience I'm working with children/ young adults with special needs or behaviours that challenges . I have previously worked with a number of communication tools such Makaton, pecs and podd. I take pride in a person-centred approach to care and can tailor my skills to the individual. I particularly enjoy supporting individuals with tailored approaches to reach goals towards life skills & independence.
I am Happy to support in the home or out in the community but please know I do not drive but am happy to travel train. & am confident with public transport.
I have over 15 years experience working with children / young adults with additional needs.
My Experience

I am currently doing a level 3 in ADHD mentoring.
I have previously carried out support & management roles in services such as SEN schools , day services and residential
I have experience with a range children whom have a range of disabilities from physical , neurodiverse & mental health.
