Hi I’m Hayleigh, a little about myself I pride myself to be bubbly, caring and friendly. I feel like I’m an easy person to get to know, family orientated in my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends especially my 3 nieces and nephew. I currently work full time in a busy private nursery as a senior early years practitioner four days a week. I feel I’m very enthusiastic about my job and work to the best of my ability, supporting the children in my cares individual needs and routines. I enjoy going walking exploring the outdoors, listening to music.
My Experience
I completed my svq 3 children’s care learning and development in 2014. During this time I worked full time in a private nursery for 2 years working with ages 3 months to 5 years. After completing my qualification I felt like I needed a bit of a career change which I then went on to work in retail for 1 year. After 1 year in retail I thought it was the right time to go back into childcare which now I am currently still working full time in a busy private nursery after 2 years. In 2018 I moved environment into a new nursery setting which I love and have worked my way to room senior in the baby department. I have always loved working with children seeing them develop and thrive each day in my care. One thing I love about working in childcare is being able to support families with new routines, supporting developmental milestones in each individual, providing families reassurance and support.
In my spare time I spend a lot of time with my 3 nieces and nephew, I enjoy being the fun Auntie going on outings, playing different games indoors and outdoors.
I am first aid trained anaphylaxis and epi pen trained with certificate , I have been on level 4 child protection course and certificate for this also.
