About Me
Ours names are Carol and George we are both rated Good Ofsted registered childminders. We live close to the motorway with links to Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Cheshire and Trafford. We are also very close to Manchester airport (10 Mins walk) We have a designated playroom with disabled access and have a large downstairs bathroom with nappy changing area. Children are looked after in a safe, loving environment and all learning experiences are in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
I have experience with dealing with diabetes type 1 and using an insulin pump on a child.
WE CAN ARRANGE LOCAL COLLECTION AND DROP BACK HOME IF WE CAN.
My Experience
I am a mother to three and In the past I have worked helping parents in their own home.
My Qualifications
We have first aid, safeguarding, amongst others which can be seen upon request
My Availability
Full, part time and before and after school availability.
Term time only contracts available.
Hours are 8 to 6 (hours out of these times contact provider)
We offer the 2,3 and 4 year old funding

Lovely people who treated all children with care and love. Our daughter Alicja joined the settlement when she was 3 years old. She spent the whole semester year there. They were also able to take her half term on short notice. There was great communication between us on Whatsapp and through the application for children (I don't remember the name). Alice remembers Carol and George to this day (she misses them) and she has already finished reception class at school.

Craib Childcare is absolutely wonderful and I am delighted with the care provided for my daughter. Carol and George have created a lovely, homely and warm environment where my little girl is very happy. Carol and George create lots of opportunities to learn through play, and my daughter always comes home full of the things she has been doing, from crafts, to trips out, to games and outdoor play. They have assisted with my daughter's transition to a new school and changes at home and are always keen to help in whatever way they can. I honestly could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you both! xx

Carol and George have been minding my little girl Maya for a few months, who at first was a hard settler... She would cry every morning leaving me but now after all the comfort and support of both Carol and George, Maya will now kiss me, say bye bye and go play with the kiddies. She’s learnt so many new words and dances, it’s amazing the difference they make to Maya’s day. The excitement in her face when I tell her she is going to see George and Carol makes my life a lot easier whilst working. I couldn’t thank them both enough for everything they do for me and Maya. I would recommend to anybody looking for a pair of lovely, friendly and welcoming people to look after their precious little ones.

Absolutely delighted we found Craib Childcare. Our son has been here for a few months now and has settled really well. It is a home from home environment and he couldn't be happier. Carol and George go above and beyond with their care and are very attentive to our sons special needs. They put so much effort into making sure the children are always learning through play and having endless fun!

Carol and George work very well as a team. Together they organise a really creative, stimulating and engaging environment for the children. Their home is so caring too and my toddler is always made to feel so welcome-we both are! Communication is fantastic and we get regular updates during the day which is lovely to see or read at work. I also feel very comfortable asking a range of questions about the day etc and Carol and George’s answers are never rushed. Their care for our toddler is really appreciated!

We couldnt recommend or praise Carol and George enough! The improvement we have seen in our son's development since he started going to Carol and George is fantastic, he is more sociable, walking better and talking more. They have been supportive to our needs as well as his and feel more like friends than just 'the childminders'. They have encouraged his development in a warm, friendly and stimulating environment. He's usually reluctant to be brought home at the end of the day! The facilities and care offered are first class. Very much a priceless service.

Carol and George helped me out with my baby and provided me with a great service for my son, loving warm home and a friendly couple. My son took a shine to George and loved being at their home.

We have been using Carol & George for Childcare including school drop offs and collections and we have never been let down. Carol and George have been very accommodating with short notice from myself at times which has ensured I can continue with my work stress free.
Would highly recommend. Both very friendly and their home is safe and child friendly. My children are always asking to go there!
