Debbie has worked with children for the past 29 years. Debbie worked in an Infant School as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in the Inclusion Team and as a Childcare Manager, running the very popular Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club at a local Infant School. Debbie’s daughter Jade is her Childminding Assistant and has experience in working with children and in a school setting and also experience in working as a chef in a local restaurant
My Qualifications
Debbie has HLTA status and a STAC (Specialised Teaching Assistant Certificate) qualifications. Debbie has also a Cache Level 3 in Home Based Child Care.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Full Term Time Charges: £7.00 per hour; Term Time only are £8.00 per hour. Breakfast; 50p per day lunch and dessert £1.50per day dinner and Dessert 2.00per day; Morning and Afternoon Snacks are free of charge

Words cannot describe how incredibly sensational Debbie, Amber and Paul are. An amazing family team who made my daughter (7months) be part of their family from the moment they met her. My transition back to work has been extremely easy knowing how unbelievably well she has been cared for. The care she has received has been like no other, the kindness they have shown deserves a medal. My daughter eagerly waits for Debbie to open the door and she gives Debbie the biggest smiles on arriving and leaving. The updates and online feedback is incredible, thoughtful and insightful. The picture updates and well thought out activities are engaging and have really supported my daughter’s development. The local walks, themed weeks and outdoor play is amazing. I cannot recommend this setting more highly. As a teacher myself, finding the right care for my daughter was fundamental and I would urge any parent looking for a childminder to look no further!

Debbie and Amber was looking after my son for a few weeks and my son could not be happier! Not once he wasn’t happy to go in. Always smiling when see everyone there from day one. He was very well looked after and it was impressive how fast he felt himself comfortable at the new to him environment. I would not hesitate for a second in contacting Debbie and Amber again.

I couldn't speak highly enough of Debbie and Amber. The effort they put in goes above and beyond, I can relax knowing that my daughter is eating nutritious meals, learning and developing, and making memories with her friends. They have made my return to work as easier than I could have imagined, thank you ladies!

I have used Amber and Debbie’s services for the last for 2years if not more and they have provided my daughter with a safe, caring, enthusiastic environment for her to grow, learn and form lasting relationships. My daughter settled in quickly and I began to notice after only a few weeks the progress she was making with her confidence, speech and question asking. They have provided home cooked meals everyday which are delicious according to my daughter. They have a wide range of activities and experiences, while always having time to play. I have been supported through all aspects of her growing up such as toileting and most recently a bereavement, while also helping prepare my daughter for school. I can’t speak any higher of them and would highly recommend using their services. During covid my daughter was sent home with work packs for her areas of learning to continue her progress through challenging times. Their years of experience combined with their caring natures has allowed me to see my child grow and flourish throughout her time there.

My daughter started going to Debbie and Amber’s setting when she was 6 months old (she is now 4.5 years). Debbie is her keyperson and my daughter adores her and loves going there.
Having 2 childminders working together has meant my daughter has benefitted from having more children to socialise with than you’d get at a standard childminder setting, while still having a smaller more homely environment.
They do a wide range of activities, including baby and toddler groups (back when these were running regularly), the park, farms, soft play and more. When not getting out and about they had plenty of play time at the setting, as well as working on learning new skills, doing lots of craft, painting, baking, etc. Amber and Debbie also provide home cooked food which my daughter informs me is the yummiest food she’s ever had!
My youngest will be starting there in September, and I know she’ll be in safe hands.
I would absolutely recommend Amber and Debbie to anyone looking for childcare for their child/children.

We have had our son with Debbie and Amber since September 2020. I would highly recommend them as top childcare providers.
This is a well structured environment with a lot of learn through play, and they have so many educational activities which I can tell has benefited our son in so many ways.
