About Me
I work alongside my daughter Lucy, who is also an Ofted registered childminder.
We aim to provide a happy, safe, enriching environment where children and their families feel welcome.
Please take a look at my most recent Ofsted inspection report, where I am graded Outstanding.
We have a dedicated playroom and a garden full of exciting activities.
We provide a very outdoorsy setting, where we enjoy woodland walks, visiting local National Trust areas, our local Aboretum, and we especially love our weekly visits to Beale Park.
We pride ourselves with the service we give. Having small numbers allows us to meet every child's individual needs and interests, supporting their learning and development.
Here, excellent storytelling is a must!
We promise to enjoy every single cup of pretend tea, and hugs are always welcome.
I am also a qualified swimming teacher, and I currently teach little people on a Friday and Sunday at the Oratory Leisure Centre, which I absolutely love!
My Experience
I began working with children in 1999 when I became a Registered Childminder.
I became fully qualified in Early Years Care and Education in 2007.
Since then I've worked in various schools and nurseries in Scotland as an Early Years Officer.
I became a SEN TA in an Outstanding Primary School when I first moved to Benson Oxfordshire providing 1 on 1 care with a pupil with a variety of learning difficulties.
I was the founder and ran a Crèche facility in RAF BENSON for 2.5 years.
Since July 2016 I became a Ofsted Registered Childminder offering my services to those who live in Benson Village and surrounding areas.

I am available to childmind Monday to Thursday 9am-5.30pm although I can be flexible with requirements.

My 4 year old son has complex needs so I was really nervous looking for a childminder. I shouldn’t of been!! Vicki is just amazing. She already had a background in caring for children with additional needs and it shows! She is warm, patient, adaptable and most of all very loving towards the children she teaches. She is always thinking of ways to include my child and making him have the best experiences. She has adapted her home to meet and exceed his needs (adding a sensory room and items to her garden to help him develop). Also, personally she has gone up and above to support me. I couldn’t of got through the last few months without her. If your looking for a childminder to support personal development, be fun and love your child like family, then you have found your child’s place :) Thank you Vicki from the bottom of my heart xx Charlie

My daughter has been with vicki since November 2016. My daughter has done so much and learnt so much whilst being in Vicki’s care. Vicki is always doing something new with the children and having days out and learning all at the same time. I couldn’t ask for a nicer childminder vicki is easy to talk to and is just amazing not just with my little one but with the other children too.
