About Me

I am a kind, patient and reliable individual and at a very early age knew that I wanted to pursue a career working with children. I have one daughter, aged 19 now who is at university in her second year.I enjoy trips to the theatre, arts and crafts listening to music and meeting new people.

My Experience

I have 29 years of experience working as a nanny. All of my previous employment has been sole charge positions of one or more children (including babies as young as 5 months). I have also had experience working in a day nursery as part of a team. My most recent employments to date have both been in a primary school setting as a SMSA. This change of role for me was due to the fact that I had my own daughter in 2004 and wanted to find a job that fit around school hours. This is of most recent now . Last year 2023 worked for a family with 2 girls after school work for 6 Months left this family as they no longer needed my childcare help. January 2024 worked with SEN School Children as a attendant on their School Bus . Looking for part time or full time Nanny positions . I live locally .

PPA, Equivalent to NVQ2, Pediactric first aid , Safeguarding course

I am available for Babysitting in the evenings and regular work in the school holidays.
