My Summary

My Experience

I have a years experience as a Nanny/Mother’s Help within a family household responsible for 2 children, the youngest aged 11 months, and the eldest 3 yrs.
During the daytime I would conduct varied, interactive and engaging activities, encouraging crafts and outdoor imaginative play as much as possible. At nap time I would undertake household duties which included clearing up and laundry for the children.
My TEFL qualification allowed me create a fun learning environment for the eldest child in preparation for primary school.

I have plentiful experience of evening babysitting for children between the ages of 4 months - 12 years old. Consisting of: getting the child/children ready for bed, bathing, reading stories and re-settling if they should wake.

Previously, I volunteered with Girl Guiding as a Brownie Unit Leader, attending weekly sessions to help oversea and undertake activities with children aged 7-10 years old. I also volunteered with Bookmark as a Reading Assistant, working with children who need additional 1-1 support learning to read. Both of these roles required a DBS and child welfare & safety training.

My Qualifications

Certificate in BTEC Extended Diploma in Business Level 3 /
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) /
8 GCSE's (including Maths and English)

My Availability

I am available for ad-hoc evening sits and weekends (please enquire). Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re looking for a one off sitter, or someone more regularly.

*Please note:* I am also currently available for a temporary part-time or full-time nanny position over the summer holidays.
