About Me
Hello my name is Adele Thompson and I have been a registered childminder since 2006 operating in Calverley. I live with my husband, my daughter and our dog Bobby .
I was rated GOOD by Ofsted at my last inspection and have recently moved my registration back to my home address after co-minding from another setting for the last 2 years . I am currently mainly offering wrap around care for our local Church school .
My Experience
I began working with children over 17 years ago at my local playgroup and at Parkside school and then with a local childminder helping her care for a special needs child.
In my own setting I have worked with children of all ages and have had the pleasure of seeing children go right from pre school to high school.
The youngest child I have cared for has been six weeks old.
I have also worked with children with special needs in the past and from my own experience I have been a mum to my own children for 25 years .
My Qualifications
I am a member of the Leeds Quality Childminding Network
Level 3 in introduction to Childcare Practice
Level 3 in The Childcare Practitioner in the home-based setting
Level 3 in Working in partnership with parents in the home-based setting
Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering
Child protection 1 and 2
