About Me
Hello, my name is Atlanta and I have just finished studying at Canterbury Christ Church University. In which I studied a BA in Education Studies and received a 2:1. I’am a fun, enthusiastic and bubbly young lady who enjoys the company of children. I have many hobbies which include cooking and going on days out, while exploring new places. I' am always keen to work and be kept busy. Working with children really brings out the best in me, I to come from a massive family with lots of cousins which has probably been why I adore children and explored this career further.
My Experience
I have always been in education and I would like to think I have good morals and values. In 2013 I started at Epping Forest College, Loughton, after conducting my first year of ALevels. I have done and completed my level 3 qualification in Childcare and then went further onto taking an Extended Diploma in Childcare, which got me into my first choice university with great results! While being at the college for two years I did a lot of experience I did a whole year in a nursery both in the baby and pre-school room and my second year was in a brand new primary school which I got a chance to teach and learn alongside the qualified teacher. I would say I have a good amount of experience with children and babies and it's always great to learn and try new things. I have looked after over seven different families as their nanny, which I loved! And I continue to do some light nannying during the week.
My Qualifications
I have achieved 9 GCSE’s. I achieved my first year level 3 childcare qualification at distinction and in my extended diploma in Childcare I received 3 B's. I am also first aid trained and DBS qualified. I have just completed university and was awarded a 2:1 in Education studies.
My Availability
Currently a primary school teacher now and only available during the school holidays. I hold a full UK driving licence and own my own car. I' am happy to do extra evening baby sitting, as long as I am given enough notice.
