About Me
I am 32 years old, fully qualified in childcare. I live in Sprowston just near Cecil Gowing infant school (east of Norwich). I have one son who was born August 2015 and a daughter born September 2019. I own a 3 bedroom bungalow which is child friendly and full of toys and two little children that love to make friends!
OFSTED visited my setting on the 4th of August 2021 and rated me GOOD.
I have my DBS and OFSTED certificate to show, for some reason this website doesn’t show it.
My Experience
I first started working in a chemist when I was 15 I worked my way up to become a supervisor, after a while I got good with communicating with all ages of people helping them with their problems and how to treat them. Also I learnt a lot about childhood illnesses and how to treat them quickly and effectively. I worked here for 3 years.
When I qualified from my BTEC Diploma I became a nursery practitioner at a nursery in Norwich, there I stayed for 1 and a half years, I learned about childrens individual needs and how to keep them happy and healthy. I worked between the two rooms which was 0-2 years and 2-4 years I gained a lot of useful experience here.
After leaving the nursery I became a nanny for 8 years! I decided to become a childminder when I had my son!
My other experience is my 2 children who’ve taught me a lot!

BTEC National Diploma in Early Years level 3
(NVQ level 3)
First aid.
Child protection.

I have Monday and Tuesday all day available at the moment.

We hired Claire for an evening to baby sit our 6 month old baby girl, and three and six year old boys.
From the moment she walked through the door she gave us confidence she would look after them well.
The kids bonded with her very quickly and by the time we arrived back home she had them both bathed and in bed. They all seemed very happy and we would recommend her services without hesitation.
