About Me
I’ve recently moved from London to Thorpe Bay. I’m a mother of two grown up children and have one granddaughter. I’ve been caring for children for over 30 years and my passion and commitment to giving all the children in my care the opportunity to flourish is reflected in my Ofsted rating which is ‘outstanding’.
My home is safe, clean and smoke free. I live with my partner and have two lovely cats.
My personal interests include spending time with my wonderful family, friends and I enjoy regular trips to the theatre and going for walks along the sea .
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 30 years and looked after children of all ages and all walks of life. My mission is to keep a happy home. I want the children I care for to feel my home is their home. I like to create a fun environment with plenty of activities inside and out. I regularly reevaluate my setting to keep things fresh and the children stimulated. I take advantage of all local amenities and the varied range of clubs and events going on in the area.
I provide a well balanced and diverse menu to cater for the children’s individual needs. This takes into account any specific allergies or dietary requirements.
My Qualifications
I am ICO registered.
I have an NVQ 3 in childcare and development
Safeguarding training
Prevent Duty
Food safety and hygiene
Paediatric First Aid
Fire safety training
Full driving licence
My Availability
I work Monday Tuesday & Thursdays happy to tailor my working hours dependent on parents’ individual needs. Can also pick up from Bournes Green School.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Fees on request. Daily rate of £50 per day. Before and after school daily rate £20 per day. Fees include all meals, snacks and drinks.
