The job would be to start asap. We had recruited a candidate but her personal circumstances have changed.
Friendly family with 3 children, 2 dogs and a cat. Our children are aged 11, 10 and 7. Two of them attend the local village primary school. One is at secondary school in Aylesbury. They are well behaved, polite and good company.
We are an experienced nanny family who are used to building happy relationships with our nannies. Other the last 11 years we have had one nanny for 5 1/2 years and one for nearly 5 years.
The children have a busy schedule of after school activities - they do sport, music and scouting activities.
Parents both work full time largely from home, although our offices are separate from the house. Mum occasionally travels away for periods of time.
We are fortunate to have lots of space at home with a large garden with a play area with a climbing frame, trampoline, a veg patch and 8 chickens.
My Requirements

We are looking for a nanny or, due to the older age of our children, we would consider a person with experience of children but not necessarily a qualified nanny.
Ideally we are looking for afternoon / after school care and, ideally, additional hours in the school holidays. FTC to July / August 2025.
Minimum hours 20pw term time, although we would be happy to discuss some additional hours for the right candidate if more were wanted. Opportunity for more hours in the holidays too should the candidate wish (40pw).
Main duties are:
Planning ahead so the children have what they need for the next day
School pick ups
Driving to after school clubs
Some supervision of homework and music practice
Some cooking / housework & laundry (for the children) / ironing depending on hours agreed
Due to the age of the children we are looking for a nanny / child carer who is fun and willing to get stuck in with physical activities and crafts but who can also help with logistics and supporting homework and music practice. Our children love books and reading, playing card and board games and being outdoors. We are active family who have limited screen and tv time. The job is suited to someone who likes being active.
Driving licence essential. Appropriately insured vehicle for use available.
Hours negotiable (see above) but minimum 20pw.
