About Me
I'm an experienced OFSTED registered Childminder based in East Dulwich. I provide a safe and secure homely childminding service. My aim is to offer a warm home from home setting with an emphasis on personal development, teaching school learning and life skills. I plan fun activities both indoors and outdoors (I am fortunate to have a beautiful garden, which is kitted out with child appropriate furniture and I have Dulwich Park within a 5 minute walk).
I am energetic, enthusiastic, trustworthy, creative, patient and bubbly with an outgoing personality.
My home is clean, pet and smoke free with lots of age appropriate age toys and books for the children to play with. My activities are based on the Early years foundation stage. I create activities that promote inclusion, independence, exploration, creativity & communication. Music is a key feature in my household and together we sing and dance daily.
I take pictures which I send to the parents , these document the children’s “wow” moments and I give a daily debrief at the end of each day.
I accept tax free childcare vouchers.
My Experience
I am a proud mother of one, I have been a registered childminder for over 25 years, I am passionate about childcare and supporting families and I have experience in mentoring and foster care. I am well known within the community with many nanny/ childminding contacts that I class as friends. Although not currently active I did set up my own self funded weekly local playgroup, which was a place for Nannies and Childminders to get together.
