My Summary
About Me
Hi Im Sarah,
I am a very friendly, approachable and kind person. I really enjoy creative activities such as drawing & painting.
Reading, nature and the outdoors are also other hobbies I enjoy.
Encouraging and nurturing children’s development is very important to me and I use my initiative to provide fun activities for them according to their age and interests.
I feel it is important for children to learn about nature, and the world at an early age, I love to do art and crafts, baking and reading stories on days when the weathers not great.
Useful things to know about me are:
* I would work from the convenience of your own home.
* I can start and finish work convenient to you (so no rushing around).
* I have my own car so travel would not be a problem for days out, picking up and dropping off, shopping, running errands etc.
* I am available to work the school holidays as normal.
* I am willing to help with household duties if needed within your home.
* I am adaptable to work around you and your child's needs.
*I am also able to do extra hours for things like babysitting, evenings or weekend care.
* Most importantly I want your child to have FUN and be HAPPY!
I have been very lucky to work with some lovely children & their families, and I really hope to continue this by finding a loving, welcoming and friendly family, so please take a look at my profile as I would love to hear from you.

My Experience
I am currently nannying for a lovely family of 4.
Which includes a 4 year old girl, Twins age 7 (boy & girl) and a teenage boy.
I have been with this family coming up for 2.5yrs in September. Am due to be leaving in September as their eldest will be starting school.
Duties including getting the children ready for school, dressed, washed etc. Drop off's at school. Then playgroups and planning activities throughout the week for the younger child. Pick ups from school, preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Playing and ensuring the children are in a stimulating environment.
I originally started off in childcare as a trainee nursery nurse on an apprenticeship and worked my way up to a qualified level 2 nursery nurse and then onto a room leader within the nursery.
Within the years of working in a nursery setting I have gained valuable experience and learnt vast amounts about children's development and their educational needs. Whilst building up strong relationships with parents.
I have worked with a number of different children all individual with their own set of needs, including children with special needs and speech difficulties.
I have experience of toilet training children and would be more than happy to help parents through this transition.
Before working in childcare I worked privately for a year with a family as a p/a supporting and caring for a young adult.
Previously to this I worked in Health & Social care for 5 years.

Sarah was our full time Nanny for 2.5 years looking after our 3 children who were 2 and 5 when she started. Sarah was an outstanding nanny at all times and we were very sorry to see her go when our youngest started school.
Sarah managed the children's drop offs and pick ups from school, lunches for days out, planned activities after school and during school holidays and much much more besides. She was nurse, counselor, teacher, friend and a great role model to the kids. The children loved her and she really has a very special way with then all and was able to attend to their individual needs when required.
Sarah was always super professional, respectful of the home setting but also very much at ease and uncomplicated. She really become part of our family and our home would not have operated without her. She's a keeper, snap her up quick!
