About Me
My name is Juliet and I have been an OFSTED registered childminder for over 8 years. I received a ‘good’ grading in my last inspection which can be viewed on OFSTED’s website, please contact me if you’d like the link to this. I have two of my school age children, Evie and Lewis as well as two dogs, Coco and Rex.
I hold a current DBS along with being Paediatric First Aid and Designated Lead Safeguarding training which are regularly updated. I also complete other training with regards to the latest child development to keep my practice relevant.
We attend weekly gymnastics classes, soft play sessions and socialise with children from other settings. I plan an enriched curriculum based on the children’s interests and next steps as well as introducing new experiences following the EYFS guidelines. My setting is a very home from home setting to enable me to build a safe and secure environment and relationship where children can reach their full potential to confidentiality move on to their next educational setting.
I communicate mostly by WhatsApp and email on a daily/weekly basis. Parents receive pictures and videos regularly so they can see what their little ones have been doing. I also keep a paper record of their individual development trackers, which enable me to plan for the children’s next steps.
