About Me
As I am also a parent I understand the needs and wants a child may require so I am eager to put my own experiences into good use and be of help to the child as well as their parent. My son has special needs so I am also aware of what comes with being a special needs parent and what necessities or requirements may be essential for the child in that moment or throughout their day to day life.
From experience with my own, I believe it's good to take children out no matter the weather as a breath of fresh air even for 5-10 mins does you good! Going to the local library to just have a read or borrow some books is something me and my son do every fortnight, going to soft plays or to the playground are also our options.
Overall, I am confident to say that I can be of great use and help from one parent to another.
I have recently relocated to Coventry CV3 since December 2024. I have over 6 years experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years in a nursery setting and 2 years experience being a nanny. I have a 4 year old of my own so I also have personal experience in looking after a child.
I am seeking a part time role where I can keep busy during the day while my son's at nursery, give a lending hand to another working mum/dad/carer.
As I have just moved to Coventry, all my past experiences/references will as expected be shown as London based.
My Experience
Nvq level 2 in Children and Young People Workforce and have worked at a nursery setting as well as nannying/babysitting for 6+ years. I am happy and comfortable with all age groups, specifically newborn to 4-5 years old.
I am also a mother to my 4 year old son.

The initial conversation was pleasant, and this person seemed genuinely interested so an interview/meeting was arranged. On the day of interview/meeting I text messaged 2 hours before meeting to confirm attendance but got no reply, but thought we still go meet her at the place and time arranged. We waited for her and even called and she didn't turn up and nor did she pick up her phone (phone went straight to voicemail) or have the courtesy to inform us that shes not turning up. It was a complete waste of time. Obviously she does not take this seriously at all!! I wouldn't waste your valuable time on someone who clearly is not reliable and has no decency or care for others time.

Hi, thanks for your review however as I mentioned during our exchanged emails, I have had to cancel last minute due to a family bereavement. I hoped you would understand which you have told me you do but I guess there was a misunderstanding somewhere. Again I apologise for cancelling last minute but I do not apologise for anything else.
