Hi
My name is Miriam.
I am a caring person who enjoys to have fun with the children but also has a passion to support and encourage each child’s individual needs to help them progress in their development.
I have lots of fun activities a waiting that I hope the children will enjoy. It broadens from inside play, outside play and plenty of near by experiences that I hope the children will enjoy.
After 11years of nannying for various families I was thrilled to have my own 2 girls (Now 5years & 6years) I had the privilege to spend the time being a mummy full time and loved every minute of seeing the girls progress in their development. When my youngest started school I felt it was the right time to step out onto childcare again.
I am ofsted registered and have places available. Please enquire as to what days are available.
My Experience
Dec 2005 - Dec 2007 I worked in a nursery setting for 2 years where I covered ages from 4 months - 4years.
Jan 2007 - Sept 2013 I worked for a family as a Daily Sole charge nanny for 7 years. The twins were 7 months when I started. When they were 20months then took sole charge of there younger brother as well when he was 4 months. I loved my job and sadly had to leave as the youngest started school full time.
Nov 2013 - May 2014 I moved away to Wiltshire to become a Live in Shared care nanny with the mum when the little girl was 5months. Although I loved the experience and they were a lovely family I missed being near my home town so re located back to somerset nearer my family
SEPT 2014 - SEPT 2017: I worked for a local family in Somerset. Sole charge for 3 children (The children were 11months, 3years and 8 years when I left). I’m still in contact with them now and make regular visits to see them.
MAY 2022 - OCT 2022: I did a few bank shifts for the local nursery (The Paddocks Nursery)
DEC 2022 - NOW I registered and run my own childminders business.
-I have done lots of babysitting for various families too who would be more then willing to give references.
- I've also had experience with babysitting and crèche at some local venues.
My Qualifications
- Diploma in ChildCare.
- I was previously Ofsted registered for 11years as a nanny.
- Ofsted registered as a childminder
- DBS checked.
- Driving license
- First aid Trained
- Health checked

Miriam is amazing with children- she’s a total natural. Miriam was a childminder for my 1 year old son for 6 months until he was old enough to start nursery where my elder children are. She is really organised, caring and fun with children. He’s normally quite attached to me but Miriam was one of the only people he could go to with zero fuss when I dropped him off. He always came out smiling after a fun day. I would highly recommend.

Miriam has looked after my twin girls (2 years) on a regular basis over the last year and I can not recommend her enough. My girls absolutely love her and her family and always look forward to going to stay. Miriam has also looked after them overnight and the girls are always excited to go and have a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Miriam for any childcare needs she really could not be more accommodating or professional and all done with a true caring nature.

Miriam has looked after my little girl (5 years old) for six months three times a week after school, Maisie loves being with Miriam and her adorable little girls, they’re a really lovely family and welcomed Maisie into their home, she always looks forward to seeing them and always comes home with a smile on her face and a happy heart, I highly recommend Miriam without hesitation
