I can’t recommend Kate aka Nanny K enough. Our daughter has joined her setting when she was just 17 months old and she was there for a year. This was the first time our little one stayed somewhere else other than home and with someone other than us. Not once she cried or had a bad day. From the settling in date to going full days, she was just so happy to go and stay. Always very happy, always looking forward to go to Nanny K. Kate takes such a good care of the little ones. She is just truly amazing! Our daughter has learnt sign language, different life skills, and been potty trained. She always came home with paintings and lovely cards for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas and Easter. Her development has been amazing with Kate’s help and care. She treats them like her own. Couldn’t have asked for a better place and person to take care of our daughter. We are forever thankful for Kate.

Nanny K has been our childminder over 4 years with both our children. We fell in love with her setting immediately - it was like a mini nursery with no school runs and being seperate to her own home. A beautiful garden, outdoor toys, games, lights and activities inside.
Our girls have very different personalities but each thrived with Nanny K! I miss the artwork coming home and hearing the songs they've learnt, but we're very luckily to remain friends with other children we met whilst there.
Our eldest went from age 2 when we moved to LB, but our youngest went from under 12 months to age 3 and truly believes Kate is her "Nanny". We left Nanny K's this summer and she still talks about Kate, wants to go to her house and even celebrate her birthday with her.
Kate's home, garden and her family create a loving, fun, safe and warm enviroment for all children under 5. Kate offers flexibility and always gave us an update on our daughter during the day. We often sent our daughter with breakfast and lunch for the day but Kate happily helped with this, she would also provide fruit, including what the children pick from the garden allotment, and managed our daughter's allergies no problem.
Kate's "seesingsay" songs and videos and facebook page were another selling point for us, she loves her work and it shows :)

Our 18mo had never been to a childcare setting when we found Kate. We couldn’t have asked for a kinder, warmer place for our little girl. She learnt so much from Kate, most importantly life and social skills and toilet training. Our daughter has now started school, but still waves to Nanny K’s house/road whenever we drive past and asks when she can go back and play. I’m so pleased she had Kate’s nurturing in these early and formative years. We are already looking forward to sending our newborn to Kate next year and seeing what he will learn and discover!

We felt so lucky when we found Nanny Kate to look after our little boy who had just turned one. Kate is kind and caring and always creates a fun and engaging environment where children can learn and flourish. Her setting is wonderful with so many lovely toys and resources & Ted loved playing and learning in her wonderful garden. Kate creates fun crafts, and activities for all of the children, and she was key in supporting Ted in learning key life skills such a teeth brushing, potty training and eating with cutlery.
Kate also offered great flexibility for our sometimes changing work schedules & Ted loved his time with Nanny Kate in preparing him for pre-school. We would not hesitate in recommending Kate to anyone!

My 2 year old went to Nanny Kate's 2 half days a week from 16 months old to 22 months and absolutely loved it. Kate is very caring, she was very flexible and did lots of activities that helped with my daughter's development. Having only a small group of kids meant she got lots of one on one care, as a protective mama I felt she was always safe there. She misses and still asks to see nanny K 4 months later!

Nanny K was fantastic with our little boy. He always came home with crafts / artwork (including a super cute fathers day card!) And was kept busy throughout the day. The set up is amazing and our little one loved the access to outdoors with the sandpit and swing.
Nanny K was really flexible with the days we booked which was perfect for us due to our job roles.
We would 100% recommend her to anyone!

I am writing this review filled with gratitude to Nanny K for taking such excellent care of my son. We looked for the right person to look after Hugo for a while and frankly I have given up hope that we will be able to find someone who will be able to provide this "home away from home" stimulating environment. When Kate messaged me, we arranged a meeting right away and I was blown away by the number of resources she uses to occupy the children in her care and her personality too. Kate spent a lot of time on helping my son speak English as it's his secondary language and she even thought him some sign language. My son brought various art and kraft projects home every day.
Kate is a very kind, patient and empathetic person Hugo took to her very quickly and they created an incredible bond. I will forever be grateful to Kate for giving me peace of mind knowing that my child was in the best hands.

I must of searched through about 45 peoples profile and I felt so lucky that I came across Nanny K.She has a lovely,clean setting separate from her house .This has an en-suite/changing /potty area ,large play room with toys and books galore that is very inviting for any little one and a garden also to play in .She also has an area for the children to eat and colour ordinates everything so the children know what belongs to them .
Since my daughter has been in Nanny Ks care ,we have watched her grow and develop well into a confident happy little girl.
She has come on leaps and bounds with her speech and language and I have Nanny K to thank for this .She also writes her own music seesingsay (can be found on insta and Facebook) and this makes it more fun with the learning for my LO.She does art and crafts too which is really nice and often come home to nice arty pieces my daughter has done .
Besides the excellent setting and wonderful care .Nanny K is the heart and soul of this place .It’s not just a job for her it is a vocation .I feel like she is genuinely interested and invested in having a relationship with my daughter.My daughter also loves Nanny K and comes home happy and calm when collected .I feel confident and reassured that I can go to work and know my daughter is in safe hands .Communication has always been excellent and always contactable when needed .

Even though our little Stan had only been with Kate for less than a year he managed to pick up some basics of the British Sign Language, he really loved the setting and could not wait to go to Kate and play with his buddy Hugo. Kate was a great and patient teacher, helped us with all the routines, from potty training through washing hands and eating to midday naps.

Kate is absolutely amazing, my daughter loved being with her!
I was in need of someone that could give me a short contract while I was waiting for a space where her older sibling went.
Kate had Riley from 8 months old and she was so supportive of her routine and needs. We were so lucky to find such an amazing person.
Her environment for the children is wonderful, so many activities supporting deveoplment and she got so much messy play!
At every pick up I heard about Riley's whole day and what her favourite things to do were.
Riley really bonded with Kate and we will miss her.

Kate is an absolutely outstanding childminder! My son attended her setting three days a week from 9 months old. We were so lucky to find such an amazing person to look after our son and have such a positive first experience of childcare.
Kate has a wonderful environment that is both homely/secure and nurturing whilst also having a big focus on all aspects of a child’s development. My son did so many great activities and arts and crafts and learned plenty of new things I’d not thought to expose him to yet.
Kate also did a fantastic job of being really aware of his language development and ensuring she was stretching him and teaching him new words all the time.
We had plenty of verbal feedback everyday as well as periodic formal development reviews and photos shared. Kate always involved us in conversations about his development.
I was so disappointed my daughter couldn’t also attend Kate’s setting as we’d moved away from the area at that point.

Kate was looking after our boy since he was one yo. He didn't speak nor understood english, but thanks to her experience and patience they were able to form strong bond. We provided own food so cannot really comment on that, setting is amazing as it is separate from the house and they often venture either to garden or outside. Highly recommend

Trying to find a care provider for children is so hard but as soon as we met Kate and saw her set up I just knew she was the person i wanted to look after our son. Kate is always kind, caring and patient. She communicates well and teaches the children so much. The amount of work our son came home with was lovely as well as being involved in assessments and receiving a ream of photos. Our son loves Kate and her seesingsay songs have helped lot in his learning. I would highly recommend Kate to all parents. Kate takes the children out daily, has a great process for learning and weaning off dummies, supporting naps and supporting toileting and independent skills. There is zero reliance on TV. We miss Kate a lot!

Kate is an incredible Childminder. A wonderful setting which seems to completely transform through the seasons and national holidays!

Kate has looked after our 2 girls (now 2 and 4) over the past 2 years. She is incredibly professional, caring and fun, whilst at the same time ensuring that the kids in her care learn key life skills and are set clear behavioural boundaries. She takes the children to a range of activities and does some great crafts pretty much every day. We highly recommend her and will miss her greatly.

Kate was our Childminder for 11 years and she looked after my 3 children from the age of 6 months. She is an experienced Childminder that genuinely cares about the children in her care. She goes above and beyond to not only keep them safe and well looked after but arranges a wonderful variety of activities to entertain them too.
All of my children loved attending, they enjoyed activities that we wouldn't always get to do at home (due to the mess factor!). Craft activities were a speciality and our children regularly brought home glitter covered masterpieces. She was keen to teach them too and her lovely garden was also child orientated, with lots of growing vegetables and flowers. The setting was always well organised and she had various charts that helped the children too.
At the end of the session, we would always have feedback as to what our children would have achieved that day, or be told of any progress they had made. Her knowledge of the Early Years framework was always really high and so she was very in tune with the level your child was reaching. When my first child attending her setting, her advice was always invaluable to me and I learnt a lot from her. She was always reassuring.
Kate was extremely reliable and hardworking. I could leave the children with her and not worry. I can only count on one hand, the people I would leave my children with and Kate was one of them! She made you feel like one of the family and we feel so blessed that we were able to have a consistently high standard of childcare over so many years which is rare these days.
Wishing her every success in her new area, you would be extremely lucky to have her as a childminder!

Kate looked after our son for 2 years from the age of 1 and provided excellent care - he was definitely in safe hands! Kate is friendly and reliable, our son loved going to her home and would come home with endless arts and crafts which took pride and place on our mantlepiece. Kate invested a lot of time in developing skills and was pivotal in the potty training process when we would have easily given up! We can't thank Kate enough for her time and are sad to see her leave - we wish her the very best in her new home!

Kate looked after our 2 boys from when our eldest was 1 yr until 4 yrs and our 2nd son was 1 yr until 3 yrs. We are very happy with the care she provided and it always felt like she really did care, rather than was just doing this as a job. We were very sad that moving house meant we had to leave and have yet to find the same quality of care.
Kate is very creative and was always making things with the boys and tying in what she was doing to the what was happening at the time (e.g. crafts about Spring or the queen’s jubilee or Father’s Day etc.)
She takes time to work with each child, finding activities that match their interests and stimulate them. In addition, Kate also organises activities outside the house for them, taking the children to the library, park or singing and music groups. They have a lot of contact with other children. Our boys went from being with Kate to going into a larger nursery and had no problems adapting.
When we were looking for childcare, outside space was really important to us. We really liked the way she had designed her garden, packing a lot into a small space and making it suitable for all weather. She made very good use of it so the children could always have some time outside and get involved with planting things as well as playing. My boys still miss her garden and keep asking if they can go back and visit.
Our youngest son was born with mild-moderate hearing loss and needs hearing aids. There were concerns that he may have speech problems as a result. However, Kate was amazing in adapting to his needs and he ended up being far more advanced in his speech and development than other children his age. This early years grounding has significantly minimised any future disability his hearing loss may have caused and really impressed his audiologist and hearing teachers. We give Kate a lot of credit for this.

I cannot recommend Kate highly enough, she is friendly, approachable and cares for your children as her own. My children thoroughly enjoyed their time with her, she offers a great range of activities with indoor and outdoor spaces available at her home. The children also attended local toddler groups with her. Kate will always provide feedback about their day and photographs of activities too. Kate is also flexible and will always try and accommodate any changes to days/ times when the children attend, this helped me out on a few occasions! Thanks again Kate :)
