About Me
I have lived in Sawbridgeworth since I was 9 so know the area very well. I live with my husband and 2 children. I registered as a childminder in June 2016 and have thoughrouly enjoyed it, I had my first inspection on the 05/06/2018 and was rated 'good'. Before starting my new journey I was at home being a mum to Izzy and Hugo who are now nearly 13 and 8. Izzy attends Leventhorpe, Hugo is at Reedings.I am very fortunate to have such wonderful children (I know I'm biased ;)) who are very well behaved ....most of the time anyway :).
I really love what I do and find it so rewarding watching the children in my care grow and go home with a smile on their faces. I have had some wonderful feedback from parents and children eager to come back, that is what I strive for the most, if children are happy and confident in themselves and their surroundings then they will be ready and willing to learn and will succeed in what ever their little hearts desires. I encourage choice and independence with fun educational activities indoors and out but ensure the children understand that there are rules and boundaries. I alsop believe that communication is key between parent and carer, if you had/have any concerns please feel free to talk to me, I am very flexible with my routine and would never do anything with your children that you were not happy or comfortable with.
I also run an after school club with my very good friend and fellow childminder Becky Wishon, situated at the Church House next to Fawbert and Barnard, offering collections from both Reedings and F&B this is a new adventure which we are both very excited about. My Experience
I have been in and out of childcare since I was 19. I studied at Harlow college for 2 years, part if my course was to go into various settings including a home setting, schools and nurseries. During my course and once completing it I worked at Kiddi Caru in Harlow working with all ages from 3 months up to 5 years. After having my daughter I worked solely in preschool for 3 days a week.
My Qualifications
BTEC national diploma in early years. (2 year course at Harlow college)
My Availability
Monday-Thursday 7.30am-6.00pm
I offer drop off and pick ups from Fawbert and Barnard and Reedings.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees are £6ph, I ask that parents provide children with lunch boxes, nappies and wipes. Dinners are provided but charged at an additional £1, this will be served between 4.30pm and 5pm.
After school club fees are charged per session:
until 5pm - £13
until 5.30pm - £16
until 6pm - £19 (snacks/dinners are not included in these fees)
