About Me
I am Shannon and I am 28 years old.
I have been a nanny now for nearly 7 years and have been with two families in that time so both have been very long term employments.
I hold a level 3 & level 4 qualification in childcare & education.
My Experience
I have a lot of experience working with children from 3 months old up to 10 years old. As part of my courses I have done over 1,000 hours worth of placement experience in a nursery, a pre-school and also a primary school.I have also done lots of babysitting for friends and family so have been within the home with children learning their routines.
While completing my level 4 I became bank staff at a nursery and gained lots of experience doing this working in every room within the nursery. Once I had completed my level 4 I was asked to become a full time member of staff. Within 3 months I was appointed floor leader of toddlers (ages 2-3) which was an important role for me.
I also have experience of a nanny role working with twins (boy&girl). This was a weekend job.
DBS checked (signed up to online system so easy to access)
Hold a Full UK driving licence

Shannon has been with our family as a full time nanny for nearly two years. She's the most kind hearted and conscientious person you could ever wish to meet and goes above and beyond on a daily basis.
As well as planning activities to encourage our children's development, she also manages to create a fun and supportive environment for them to thrive. When I get home from work it's heartwarming to see them so excited to tell me about their day and that's solely down to her hard work and enthusiasm. She clearly has the patience of a saint!
She has looked after my two children since my youngest was 12 months old and is a trusted part of our family. I spend a lot of time away from home with work and it's so reassuring to know that she is at home holding the fort. She regularly helps me out with overnight stays, taking the children to doctors appointments and even walking the dog! I'm not sure how I would have got through my return to work after maternity leave without her.
