About Us
Early Steps Preschool is located in Waterlea Adventure playground in Furnace Green. We operate on a term time only basis.
The preschool has a large outdoor area and there is a big focus on outdoor play , which stimulates the children's sense of adventure, creativity and helps promote a healthy lifestyle.
We are registered for children from 18 months old up to school age and accept 2,3 and 4 year funding.
There is a friendly and well qualified staff team. The manager is a qualified early years teacher and other staff are qualified to or working towards a level 3 or working towards a level 5.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and base the curriculum on learning through play. Each child has a key worker who will maintain all the records for the child and will work closely with the parents on helping the child to achieve their next steps. Our learning journals are online so that you can see your child's progress at any point. The records are password protected and so only you and the staff will have access. The setting is fully inclusive and we will accept all children regardless of any additional support that they may need.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £18.60 per morning
- Childcare from £36.00 per day
- Childcare from £700.00 per month
- Childcare from £175.00 per week
- Childcare from £18.60 per afternoon
Our fees are £6.20 per hour for non funded children. We have a half termly charge of £20 to cover snacks. Lunches are charged at £2.50 per day - this is optional and packed lunches can be brought in.
