Hi, I am a registered Childminder based in Islington. Upper Holloway.
I have 2 boys of my own who are 10 and 13 years old, the boys absolutely love having other children in the house and many children who attend with me have grown to become close friends.
I love working with children and am very passionate about my job.
I am enthusiastic and fun to be around.
I provide a friendly home from home experience for the children in my care with lots of equipment for children of all ages. I plan activities for each child basing them around their interests. I regularly observe children's play and work by the EYFS to make sure they are developing at the right stage.
My Experience
I've worked with some lovely family's over the years and have some very good references most of my families stay with me until there children are at school. I work within the EYFS and work with you the parents to help you with bring up your child/ren! I have lots of knowledge that I'm happy to share! Thanks for looking at my profile.
I regularly visit playgroups, soft play centres,london aquarium, singing sessions, toy libraries, parks, farms and zoos. as well as planned day trips in the school holidays.
My Experience
I am level 3 qualified in childcare and development. I also attend regular training courses to help with my understand and knowledge of how children learn through play.
I have always worked with children from a young age. I was a childmindinging assistant for many years before registering myself. I have experience of nursery work where I held a position of a one to one special needs support worker.

My working hours are Mon-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm.

Lisa is the first adult outside of direct family who has looked after our daughter and we are so grateful to have had such a brilliant experience. Our daughter loves her, she is warm, attentive and caring which was the by far most important thing for us. Lisa takes our daughter on days out and provides something as close to an attentive home environment as we could hope for. Our daughter is growing in to a confident chatty toddler and really relishes the engagement with Lisa and the other child she shares her days with. We couldn’t be happier with Lisa’s care.

Lisa is a fantastic childminder and I knew as soon as I met her that I was happy to leave my baby in her care as she has a warmth and kindness that you look for in a childminder. She truly loves and cares for my child and ensures she has fun and learns when she is with her. She provides healthy meals and ensures all her needs are met whilst providing regular updates about what they are doing throughout the day. I am truly happy that Lisa is my childminder and would wholeheartedly recommend her!

Lisa has been picking up my son from school and baby sits him on a regular basis, my son absolutely loves Lisa she is fun always finding new ways to keep him active, busy and entertained he comes home and can’t wait to tell me about there day/time Together.
Always reliable and is a great communicator.

I was worried leaving my son in someone else’s care. However, he started with Lisa when he just turned one and he has become the most confident little boy. Lisa has taken her time to understand my sons needs and has been very caring and nurturing towards him. My son is always excited to go back and when I pick him up he’s always so happy. I feel confident leaving my son with Lisa and coming back knowing he’s had the best time.

Lisa is a wonderful childminder. My son started going to her when he turned 1, and has been with her for about a year now. He has developed a very close bond with Lisa.
Lisa is kind and caring and has a very gentle nature. She is knowledgeable about childcare & childhood development, and provides regular reports and updates on my son’s progress.
She is imaginative and creative, always providing stimulating activities for the children. She takes them out to playgroups and excursions whenever she can. This has been limited due to COVID, and Lisa has made an extra effort with home and park-based activities. Examples include picnics, playgrounds, animal farm trips, baking, messy play, art and much more.
Lisa is a really good cook and provides a healthy and delicious lunch and a variety of healthy snacks. She has been very accommodating about my son’s dietary requirements.
I feel lucky to have Lisa as my son’s childminder and highly recommend her.

I have been using Lisa when she has availability (she is sort after a lot!) From when my youngest was 1.5 years old - he's now 4.
He and his 9 year-old sister love going to Lisa's and always leave happy and content.
Lisa has a very kind, nuturing aura which comes through in her approach to caring for children and always has stimulating interesting activities for them to do - indoors and outdoors. My son has been talking about carving pumpkins since September and he finally did the other day with Lisa. In the summer he had a blast in the outdoor pool that Lisa had set up and it really built his confidence up to be around her 2 boys who are very sweet.
My daughter is obsessed with cats and dogs so needless to say she enjoys curling up in the corner with Lisa's dog.
I used to be a mum who was always fretting after leaving her kids but Lisa puts me at ease with regular updates of what the kids are up to.
You will not be disappointed if you hire her as a childminder and will soon become your go to.

Our daughter has been going to Lisa’s for almost a year and I can’t praise her highly enough. Lisa gives a range of activities to her kids - from messy play and baking to visits to the park and soft play centre. We love receiving photos of their activities on our phones during the day. The food she cooks is wholesome and varied, and invariably devoured. Our daughter gets excited about going to see Lisa and Maxy (the dog), and is really happy with her, as are we!

My little girl was cared for by Lisa until recently (she has now started school). Lisa was a very warm, caring minder and my daughter absolutely adored her. Lisa took her on trips out, gave her healthy meals and generally looked after her very well. My daughter was always excited to go to Lisa's and i would definitely use her again for childcare / babysitting if I needed to.

Lisa looks after my son who is 16 months old and picks my daughter (4 years old) up from school (Yerbury). My son loves going to Lisa's which made going back to work much easier as I know he is happy and in a safe pair of hands. They do fun activities everyday including messy play, singing, trips to the library and playgroups. Lisa always knows which classes are on and knows other childminders in the area so my son always has playmates!
My daughter has great fun at Lisa's after school hanging out with her sons - they have become good friends which has been lovely to see. They also do fun activities such as baking, cooking and arts and crafts. All the meals are fresh, home-cooked and nutritious and more importantly my kids eat it all up!
Lisa provides a warm and welcoming home for my two children and they both really enjoy spending time there. I always pick up two very happy kids at the end of the day.
I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough. She has made the transition of going back to work with two children much easier and has been flexible when we have been disorganised. She is a gem!

Lisa is a great childminder she looks after my son and has done so for nearly a year the relationship they have built is lovely to watch and my son often asks after her and her boys on a saturday morning!...I am very happy with the care she provides she has helped me alot with his development and keeps a daily diary so i know what he has eaten and done throughout the day...the snacks she provides are great and healthy and the meals are always home cooked, she works with me and follows are usual home routine. She attends lots of playgroups and parks singing groups and soft plays. I would 100% recommend Lisa and we will all be very saad when the time comes and we have to leave
