My Experience

I am a loyal, enthusiastic, highly motivated person dedicated to providing the very best support for children through enriching play opportunities that will support and strengthen all areas of development.

Through my experience of working within Early Years and Early Help Family Support I have demonstrated my ability to adapt to any role, whilst working effectively with a multi-agency approach. I am currently a senior Early Help Family Support worker and feel that I have developed professionally as I have become more tenacious, intuitive and above all growing in confidence and resilience allowing me to work well as part of a team who I currently manage and support effectively and with the children at the center of all we do.

I am extremely flexible as this is required to best fulfill my role requirements resulting in a strong work ethic. I have also had the pleasure of previously leading several teams as a Supervisor and manager, within a rural early years setting. Supporting the development of the children as well as encouraging staff members to develop their knowledge and understanding in how we can all support children’s development in a supportive and nurturing manor. I am passionate about a child lead approach and building upon what knowledge a child already has and celebrating this with the child whilst implementing challenges for progression.

I am a reflective practitioner who is committed to building on my professional knowledge and understanding of child development, attending regular training and conferences that better allow me to understand new ways of supporting all children’s individual developmental journey. This allowing me to provide children and their families and other staff members with advice and guidance on how the family can be a part of the child’s developmental journey within the home environment as well as within the day care setting
