About Us
Smisby Day Nursery and Smiz Kids 511 Out of School care is located only 1/2 a mile away from Ashby de la Zouch in the quiet rural village of Smisby. Our old school building and purpose built annex set in our wonderful garden is an ideal setting for children to learn and grow. We are surrounded by fields with chickens and horses and our garden lends itself to all sorts of outdoor experiences. Established in 1990 we have a reputation for quality childcare and dedicated staff with over 160 years of service at the nursery between them.
Opening Hours
We are open from AM until 6 PM Monday to Friday throughout the year. The nursery is closed on all bank holidays and also between Christmas and New Year, including Christmas Eve.
A number of early admission places are available from 07:30 each morning but these are strictly limited and must be booked in advance.
