About Me
My name is Kathy Gibson, I am a highly experienced Childminder/ Nanny and I live in South East London area.
I have many fantastic references of which I can share with you and I am highly personable and love to look after babies and children. I treat them as if they were my own and show them alot of love and care. I am flexible in terms of location but I am looking for a part time job 2-3 days a week as I have to look after my own grandchildren one day a week.
A little background about me, I have two wonderful children now a daughter 30 and son 32 both now working in the Finance Profession.
I am a very caring, loving Nanny with years of childminding experience through my own children, my nieces and nephews children who I babysit weekly from ages newborn-10 and the children I have previously minded.
I look after the children as they are my own and enjoy taking the children to after school activities, classes and clubs and play dates with their friends if required.
My Experience
Jan 04- Jan 13 - I worked for a Caring Agency for the Elderly visiting a number of elderly people preparing meals and house cleaning when required, taking them shopping and ensuring they attend all hospital appointments.
Sep 13- Jan 15 I worked on a School Bus, not as the driver but as a Guardian for the children making sure they all got to school and home safely throughout East London.
Mar 15 - Jul 16 I have been a Nanny before and after school to two young girls aged 7 and 8. Bringing them to school of a morning, attending school plays, picking the girls up in the evening and taking the home or to after school activities such as Ballet, Book Club, Golf, Swimming etc.
Sep 16 - Current In Sep 16 I was a nanny to 4 children aged 3-8. When I first began this role I was looking after the youngest more often as he attended a nursery 4 days a week from 9am - 12pm and then I would collect the other 3 children from school at 3pm and bring them home to have dinner until their parents returned at 6:30pm. As the years have progressed all children are now in full time school and the eldest now attends secondary school. My hours have therefore decreased and in the near future I may not longer be needed ( I am still working with this family for 6 years)
Sep 19 - Jun 22 - I looked after a 6 month old baby up until she was 3 and sadly the family chose to move back to Belgium but they ask to me to have their little girl whenever they’re back in the UK
Aug 22 - Mar 23 - I looked after a little boy from 5 months until nearly 1, again loved the family and their boy however they relocated to China for work commitments! I also used to look after all 3 of their children all below the age of 2 which I very much enjoyed. We are still in touch now
Mar 23 - current - I currently look after 3 Italian boys on Saturdays and Sundays aged 2,5 and 6. This is temporary role until I find a new job on weekdays!
