About Me
Ofsted registered childminder, In our recent Ofsted inspection we were graded Outstanding in all area's. I have worked in EYFS for 24 years. I live in Shirley Avenue, Acomb which is good access to York station and the by pass. I have been with my husband Simon for 32 years and marriage for 19. We have 4 children and 5 gorgeous grandchildren that keeps us busy! I work along side my daughter Kayleigh who has 7 years EYFS experience. We are qualified level 3 and graded good in our Ofsted inspection. We are a very relaxed setting and follow our children's interests. We have a play room with access to the garden, which we are always improving and adding new resources.
My Experience
I have 24 years experience working in childcare, I have cared for all ages of children from birth up to ten years. 10 1/2 years I worked in west Thorpe Pre- school before leavings and working with a childminder for 6 months, before I left to work as a deputy manager at a after school at St Baranbas school. It has being a great privilege to work with all the children and their families that I have met.
