About Me
A mother of two I have been gaining my knowledge and experience with children over the past 15 years, however I began working professional with children in a nursery setting since 2012. I became fascinated with how individually children are unique and develop at their own pace with care and nurture .During this time I’ve completed the Level 3 qualification in Children and Young people work force and Teaching Assistant course
I have always wanted to start up my own childcare business since the birth of my first child didn't get the chance to so and now after gaining some experience in a nursery care and having my second child i have decided to get started. I started pursuing this goal by contacting the local childminding service who provided me with the support and guidance to get myself Ofsted ready. I was very excited when I was given Ofsted approval.
We would like to provide your child with the best start for school not just a simple childminding service but a place where your child mind is been developed while having fun.
I like to feel that we are offering more than just a simple childminding service, but a service that cares for and stimulates the children and helps them develop.
My philosophy is that children are our future and they should be given the right start with good guidance to excel in the area of future interest. In my childcare setting this is the opportunity I offer to every child that I have the pleasure to work with, that is identifying their strength and required area for improvement through learning and play.
Each child has their own unique profile folder. This enables parents to see the activities their children have participated in and step by step development. Individual profile is accessible by parents and guardians
Health and safety is paramount in my environment of work and i regularly keep abreast with changes to the Health and Safety laws and requirement.
Following my recent inspection visit from Ofsted in July ,2018, here are some of the comments made in the inspector report.
“The childminder is very encouraging during children's play and gives them lots of praise for their efforts.”
“The childminder effectively plans activities to help them catch up and make the best progress they can.”
“They are learning useful skills that help ensure they are well prepared for the next stage in their learning and for starting school.”
In spite of my overall “Good Ofsted report” I am endeavour to continually improve on my standard by delivering outstanding work with each individual child and to clearly outline their progress with their parents and guardian.
I encourage transparency and in order to improve my service I welcome constructive feedback from all stakeholders.

My home is based in Sundon Park, Luton which is 7 minutes away from the local train station and 10 minutes from the Luton and Dunstable hospital.

My 3 and 1 year old recently started going to Camille due to me going back to study and it has been the easiest transition ever. They have settled in so well as Camille have made them feel right at home. My 3 year old looks forward to every Thursday and Friday to “ms Camille’s house”. As a mother of 2 toddlers, I’ve been able to get on with my studies knowing my children are in an amazing and safe environment. It really does take a village and we’ve been blessed with Camille along this journey.

My son has been with Camille Mon-Fri for nearly 2 years now after my return to full time work when he was 10 months old.
Camille is an exceptional carer and teacher and my son has thrived with her and they have such a wonderful bond. I am very lucky to have been able to find someone who has been a consistent and reliable caregiver and who balanced learning with play so well as well as always taking time to provide support and advice to our whole family.
Every week it seems my son picks up something he has learnt from Camille. Camille taught him how to use utensils and put his shoes on before we’d even thought about it and he is always singing a nursery rhyme in the car he hasn’t from us!
Camille encourages independence and also plenty of outdoor play, painting, baking, gardening and trips out to Lego Club, soft play, farms and Gullivers land to name the list this year alone.
I knew I wanted a home environment as my son was so young when he started childcare and I have not found any reason to change that nearly 2 years on!
Camille’s own children are extremely bright, confident and well mannered and are excellent company for my son and a credit to her. I knew when I met them my son would be in good hands.

Camille has been taking care of my son for nearly a year now. He has the best time there and loves going to “mills house”
He goes on lots of trips and day out activities which he loves. Before attending Camille’s setting his speech was not very good or clear and now you can have a conversation with him. Very happy with his progress.

Camille has cared for my son with special needs (ADHD and emotional difficulties) for almost a year. She has gone above and beyond and always supported me in relation to the difficulties he has. Her two sons are lovely, respectable boys and her husband always greets everyone with a smile and positive attitude. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

Camille has been looking after my boys, 17months and 5 years old. Shes always very helpful and accomodating. She looks after my boys very well and they learn alot from
her. My kids loves her and I highly recommend her to any mom who needs help in childminding.

Camille is amazing! My son loves her. She is great in all aspects. Camille is very welcoming and encourages him to learn new things. She has done lessons on piano with him, helped him with homework, brings him on park visits and the list goes on. Would highly recommend this lovely lady to anyone!

I called Camille when I desperately needed a childminder as the lady who looked after my child was going away on holiday. She did not hesitate despite the short notice. She has been very effective, has a very comfortable friendly home and great family. I was surprised to see all the learning tools and toys she had for kids to learn and play with. She had time for my daughter and helped her to develop her speech. Within the space of 4 weeks, my daughter's speech went up from 0-8 which was exciting. She also encouraged my daughter's independence by supporting her to perform activities such as taking off clothes, soaks, singing, etc. I was amazed to see my 2 year old do such things and eventually I decided to keep her rather than returning to the previous person. So far, she has been amazing. She pays good attention to detail, her communication skills are great and she always keeps on top of everything. She is considerate compared to other childminders I've had to deal with. Having 3 childminders in the past, she's so far the best. I live a bit of distance from her but yet still, I drive down because of her excellent service and what she has to offer.

Camille has been looking after my son who is almost two for a year now. He is a hand full and is very mischevious however, he is also a loving and kind boy. Camille has taught him so much from creative play to learning lots of new words and his speach has improved dramatically. He loves the outdoors and he has taken full advantage of camilles outside space and enjoys playing in the garden where there are slides and lots of outdoor play. Jahmai also has a lovely relationship with Camilles family especially her youngest son and often calls for him at home. Jahmai is excited to be dropped off in the mornings and even if he goes on holiday for some time, he still remembers Camille and is happy to go. There are safety implements around the home including the stair gates which has come in handy with my son. Healthy eating is promoted and they also enjoy fruit time where my son has learnt to identify a variety of different fruits. I would highly recommemd cammile if you are looking for someone who is reliable and can look after your child with high standards.

Camile has provided childcare for me for more than 5 years now, looking after my son who is now 9years old.
My son is my world therefore I am very selective with who I leave him with. Camille has always provided a safe and nurturing environment where my son feels comfortable and is always happy to go.
She has supported him with his homework and creative play where he can expand his knowledge. I believe tha Camile is an excellent childcare care provider who I have recommended to others with confidence.

Camille has been looking after my very energetic 2 year old for over 3 months now. Since I have left him there he has learnt so much and his speech has improved dramatically. He is constantly occupied and is stimulated as Camille has a wide range of toys and educational resources to keep him busy. She also promotes healthy eating and encourages cooking activities with the older children after school.
I am very happy that I have found a local childminder that I can trust. It is also a added bonus that she is right opposite my 8 year old sons school and is happy to do a morning and after school collection. She also has the IT resources (as well as time and patience) to encourage the older children to progress in Maths, English and Science and is happy to help them to complete their homework.
Highly recommended as Camille is a kind and friendly,my children are happy to go there!!
