About Me

Hello, my name is Alba. I am from Spain, and I am 27 years old.
I am living in London for one year, and I am teacher. I love to work with children, and I have a really active lifestyle. I like sports, cooking, Reading, listening music, or just go to a museum, cinema or theatre with my Friends.
I just finished my studies at the University of Málaga, and I have my degree in Hispanic Philology. I have been working with children recently, teaching in all subjects on secondary level (Math, Chemistry, Biology, Spanish, English, Geography, History).
I really enjoy working with children, trying to find the best way for them to understand the subjects with new study techniques on a dynamic and enjoyable way. I have been always around Young children, working in the family business at Pipiolines Kindergarten in Málaga. I used to play with them, teaching colours, numbers, the alphabet, and créate a calm and funny environment. I also helped in the kitchen, cleaning, and preparing the classrooms, and the dining area.
Every child is different from another, therefore for me is really important to understand their personality to find the best and most comfortable way to help.
These last three years I have been caring for a child who is now 4 years old named Carlos. I began to take care of him when I was only 1 year old and the days that his mother needed me. About 12 am I picked it up from the nursery, at home I like to prepare healthy and nutritious meals suitable for children and luckily, Carlos liked a lot. Then I would take Carlos for a walk or the park, he has many friends and I also met some moms. Later, it was bedtime and dinner until Carlos's mother came home.
Some weekends also took care of two beautiful girls, Lucia who is 13 years old and Marina who is 8 years old. I helped them with homework and then we had fun cooking together, riding bicycles, going to the movies or to the park. In London, I was working with a lovely spanish family, they have three beautiful girls 2, 8 and 9 years old, I was very happy to work with them, and I have family reference letter. Later, I was working with another spanish family who has 3 little boys: Alvaro (6 years old), Ignacio (5) and, Guillermo (2). My time whit them was amazing and you can get the number of family if you need more references.
Actually, I am working like a waitres in the Royal Albert Hall, I am really happy for work there but my really vocation is work with kids. In addition, I have letters of references from the families with whom I have worked. I'm happy to show you. I also have DBS and first aid and I have a driving license.
For all this, I think it would be a good nanny as I enjoy the children and contribute to their orderly, healthy and fun lives.
