About Me
Hello my name is Louise, I'm an ofsted registered childminder, I'm a mum to Alexander who is 15 years old, we have a cat called Henry and I've been married for 17 years. We live in Ashford in a large family home with a lovely big child friendly garden. We have many parks and soft plays near by too. I have 15 years child minding
experience and 2 of those years were working in a children's nursery in the Middle East. I love my job and no two days are the same, the joy and fun in which children learn and explore on a daily basis is amazing, they are so full of wonder and their willingness to learn is a wonderful thing and i'm blessed to be a part of it and there journey, I offer a caring and loving home from home setting and work in partnership with parents to get your children school ready.
My Experience
I have 15 years childminding experience, 9 of those as a registered childminder, ive been fortunate enough to look after over 20 little ones and their lovely families over the years, I've also worked in a children's nursery in the Middle East for 20 months looking after and teaching a class of 18 Butterflies.
My Qualifications
City and Guilds Diploma 706/1 and 2 Cooking for the Catering Industry.
Level 3 Supervising food safety.
Training certificate in Food Allergies and Intolerance.
Cache Level 2 award in supporting teaching and learning.
Positive behaviour management- eyes
The language of play- eyes
Paediatric first aid - St Johns Amblance
Enhanced DBS check
Certificate in Safeguarding children.
CHIP - childminding introduction programme.
My Availability
I'm available Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm.
I will be working school holidays.
I will do school pickups from Ashford Park Primary School
I appreciate some parents do shift work, please contact me and we can discuss hours, if I can help.

We first met Louise 7 years ago when looking for a childminder for our then 11 month old daughter. Louise was friendly, welcoming and accommodating to our needs, my daughter warmed to her straight away. Caring and helping her develop right up until she started school, even continuing to do so now on the odd occasion during school holidays.
After our second daughter was born 3 years ago, there was no question who we would have care for her when I returned to work. Being a “lockdown” baby, she needed gentle settling in time which Louise provided in abundance. Both my daughters love Louise and you can see the affection she has for all the children in her care.
She provides a safe, nurturing environment for the children to learn and grow, taking them to playgroups and activities. We receive lovely updates of how well children are doing during the day and a piles of art work/crafts. She is a wonderful childminder.
Louise has provided so much support over the years to our whole family and I will be forever grateful to her.

My husband and I chose Louise for our daughter as my nephew is with her and we had heard great things from my sister-in-law.
I was nervous with drop-offs the first few days but Louise completely reassured me and helped my daughter to settle in well.
I appreciated the updates Louise gave in the Daily Diary book, telling me about my daughter's day, what she had been up to, what she ate and logging nappy changes. I also received photos and videos which made me smile through the day.
Louise cares so much for the children and gives them a variety of activities to help with their development, and takes them to the local playgroups or park. I loved receiving the paintings or crafts they had made that day.
My daughter made friends and enjoyed herself so much that she would often get her shoes and go to the door wanting to go to Louise's house on non-Louise days.
We recently moved house and it was a bit tricky to find new childcare as I was constantly comparing them to Louise!
I'm so happy my daughter got to spend almost 2 years with Louise and I appreciate everything she did for us.

Louise has been recommended to me by one of the mums at the playground 6 years ago and I can't imagine trusting anybody else with my 3 boys (even my husband 🙂).
She is warm, friendly and professional. You can feel the love she has for all the children she takes care of. They go to playgroups and parks, do lots of arts and crafts, learn new skills.
I could go to work knowing that my little boys were safe and looked after.
She is a part of our family now❤️

Louise has looked after my 4 year old girl since she was 8 months old and as a single parent working full time Louise has gone above and beyond to make sure my girl is well looked after and cared for (and even makes sure I’m looked after too!) She always comes home excited to tell me what she has been up to that day and I’ve never ever had to worry. I’m kept well updated and some lovely photos too :)
My little one absolutely adores Louise and sees her as family.. and so do I x

My little girl started with Louise at 1 when I went back to work. I was so nervous as she’s very clingy to me but she did great there. You can really tell Louise loves the children she cares for. My little girl had a great time there and it meant I didn’t have to worry on the days I went to work. Highly highly recommend

Louise is absolutely fantastic! She's been looking after our son for over a year and we couldn't ask for anyone better. Thanks to her our boy opened up and he's making such a big progress:)
