About Me
Welcome to Precious People Childminding. My name is Zoe and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder.
I am a caring, good natured, patient person providing flexible, reliable childcare in a clean, safe and spacious home.
I aim to provide a high quality Childminding service to both children and their parents.
I offer a wide variety of toys, activities and games for children of all ages to help keep them stimulated and enthused.
Whist in my care, children can enjoy a wide variety of arts, crafts, role play, , cooking, baking, story time, small world play, dancing, musical instruments, physical activity, early maths and literacy skills. I have a dedicated indoor playroom and a variety of outdoor equipment to support the development of children's needs. I enjoy taking the children go to playgroups, library's, trips and outings to enhance their development skills. I work closely within the requirements of the EYFS statutory framework ensuring high quality care standards, aimed at supporting your child to become 'school ready' working within a nurturing, nursery style curriculum offering a fun holistic approach.
My Experience
I have had many years experience, working with children from a range of ages.
I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher and have taught in school for the past 20 years, working with children ranging from nursery age up to the age of 12.
The majority of my school experience covered the Early Years Department, working as either the Nursery Manager/Teacher or within the Reception class. I decided to take a break from full time teaching and offer my considerable experience of learning and development in the capacity of a childminder.
I have been registered with Ofsted as a childminder since November 2015 and am loving every minute of it!
I also on occasion, during weekends work as a Crèche keyworker as part of a team that provides quality childcare for events in large cities.
My Qualifications
I have completed all local authority required training courses with regards to child-minding however, I also hold a number of further professional teaching qualifications as listed below:

My Availability
I have a day space available at the moment for a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday
I can be flexible but my usual hours are 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday , although please feel free to contact me about any hours outside of these times, as I can be flexible if they don't clash with my second job .

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees are £50 per full day session.
All fees to be invoiced in advance, monthly.

My child has been coming to Zoe for just over 12 months when I returned to work from maternity leave. Zoe really helped him settle in and it didn't take long for him to stay with ease. He now asks everyday if he can go to Zoes and play with Zoe and his friends, he loves coming.
He has made some lovely arts and crafts that are displayed on our fridge and he regularly points to them saying Zoes. He also sings songs to us that he has been singing with Zoe, he can now count to 10 (he's 2).
Zoe updates us on any trips planned with him before hand and sends pictures or updates in his diary as well as discussing with us when we drop or collect him.
He has a large appetite and Zoe always gives him lots of different foods and fruit to try and has taken him to the fruit and vegetable shop where he could pick out lots of foods to try.
I have an older son who often gets a little jealous when he hears of all the fun activities my youngest has been up to with Zoe while he is at school and asks most mornings to come into Zoes when we drop him off.
I drop my child off before work knowing he is in safe hands and is going to have an action packed fun day.
