About Me
My name is Suzie Stevens. I live in Staines with my husband, Martin, our two children, Leo (2010) and Poppy (2012) and my mother, Pauline. We also have a dog called Burrows.
My Experience
I was a stay at home mum since our eldest was born. I really enjoy spending time with children and playing an active part in their development. Prior to this I worked at a law firm specialising in criminal defence.
As a registered childminder, I aim to provide a high quality, safe, fun environment, supporting your child’s educational development. I have a large house and garden with plenty of resources for children to use to have fun and learn. I also like to take the children on regular outings to the local children’s centres, professional childminding groups, farm, soft play and trips to the park.
I am able to do school/nursery runs for those attending The Hythe Community Primary School.

Suzie has looked after both of my children. First my daughter who is now 4, was with her from 18 months to 3 years old and my Son now, who is 18 months old. We feel truly blessed to have found Suzie and we could not think of anyone better to trust in looking after our little ones.
Suzie's attention to detail around learning, her nurturing and loving approach and creative and fun personality has helped my little ones grow into strong and brave superstars. She offers so many wonderful activities and days out and has been a huge support with potty training and helping my daughter overcome some rather fussy eating habits. Suzie always send lots of photos and updates throughout the day, which are so wonderful to receive and she is always on hand to give very sound advice / support when needed.
She is patient and kind and the safety, happiness and wellbeing of my son is always her main priority.
Thank you for everything Suzie! You have given my little ones the absolute best first step in preparing for Nursery and School and we are just sad that we can't keep them with you until they are 18 :)

We know for a fact that Suzie was the absolute best choice to take care of our daughter. Our little one was with Suzie for 2.5 years before she began nursery. She is now at school and still talks about her time at Suzie's. She often asks to look at photos from her time there and her face lights up. That says it all to us really. We couldn't have asked for a better childminder. Suzie is patient, loving and nurturing as well as providing lots of fun and play for the kids! We also loved the fact that we received regular updates throughout the day, with photos of what the kids were up and what adventures they had been on. We can't recommend her enough.

Suzie looked after our son since he was just under 2 years old until he was 3.
He settled in so well and really loved going every day. He made friends there and enjoyed all of the activities that Suzie arranged including regular outings and playgroups.
Most importantly, he formed a strong and secure bond with Suzie and felt confident and happy while there. Suzie was just fantastic - always very kind and thoughtful, we could not have asked for a better childminder for our son.

My son was with Suzie from about 9 months old to 3 years old. Our very active and easily distracted toddler was shown patience and kindness and was always so happy there. He enjoyed fun and educational activities both at suzie’s home and out and about which we saw through lots of pictures and updates about his days.
It was so comforting to know that he was secure and happy and being given lots of cuddles just like he would at home. We highly recommend Suzie

Suzie has been my little boy Rishi's childminder for over 18 months now, I couldn't have hoped for anyone better. Rishi has a brilliant time with her, they are always out and about exploring new places and revisiting places they love. Suzie has really helped develop his curiosity and helped him come into himself. She is patient, caring, understanding and so very helpful. I would highly recommend Suzie if your looking for someone special to look after your little ones.
