About Me
My name is Cathy and I am 53 years old. I am married with 2 children aged 23 and 18. I live in Church Crookham in Fleet.
I live very close to a local park, and we back onto woods. We do many activities during our week, and spend a lot of time outside. My house is warm and welcoming, with lots of opportunities for play.
I provide a range of healthy food and snacks, can cater to special dietary requirements, and have experience of doing so.
I take and collect from Crookham Junior School and Tweseldown Infant School. My normal working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm during Hampshire school term time. If you need to arrange an earlier start I am happy to discuss it with you.
My Experience
I began childminding in 2004 in Bromley, Kent, and I continued when we moved to Church Crookham in 2005 for a total of 7 years. I then worked at an infant school for 5 years as a special needs assistant, working with many children with additional needs, through reception and key stage 1 and then as an early years assistant in reception. I re-registered as an Ofsted Registered childminder in August 2016. I was rated Good by Ofsted at my last inspection in 2024.
My Qualifications
I hold a Cache Level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice. I hold a current first aid certificate. I have completed various childcare courses including level 3 Safeguarding Children and Delivering the EYFS.
My Availability
I have a Monday Tuesday and Wednesday early years space available from September.
I work during Hampshire Term Time. I do not work during the school holidays. I don’t currently have any after school spaces.
My normal hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and I am happy to discuss a slightly earlier start if needed. I take and collect from Crookham Junior School and Tweseldown Infant School. I have space to take children to these schools on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a Monday to Wednesday early years space available from September.
