About Us
At Nurtured we provide a welcoming, calm and nurturing environment where children develop and learn with the support of highly qualified, knowledgeable staff. We have an extremely low staff turnover, which means the relationships between staff, children and parents are strong and authentic. Children are happy to come into nursery each morning because of this, and are excited to explore the varied learning opportunities that are provided for them.
The nursery is set in beautiful grounds within the St Winnow School site at the top of Lostwithiel; the rural views are spectacular and children play outside every day whatever the weather. They have access to a variety of outdoor spaces, including an expansive enclosed playing field and forest school area. At Nurtured we seek to provide a different and challenging environment for children, both indoors and out. The environment changes and grows with the needs and interests of the children.
Nurtured Nursery employs its own chef who cooks healthy meals each day from scratch, using locally sourced and increasingly organic ingredients.
Nurtured Nursery caters for children from 0 to 4 years for full day care all year round, and primary school age children before and after school and for holiday care.
The nursery environment is beautiful, both inside and out, and viewing with your young child is highly recommended.

Our fees are competitive with other local providers.Prices given below include all food and are for a 5 hour half day, a 10 hour full day day, and a 50 hour week. Funded places are available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Childcare vouchers are accepted.
