About Me
I am a qualified and experienced primary and secondary school teacher who has lots of experience working with and teaching in Early Years settings, young children and adults. I am first aid qualified (updated: April 2024) I have 5 years of nannying, governess and tutoring experience and I love being able to give my full attention to one child or a few children as opposed to the busy classroom environment. Teaching and caring for children is a huge passion of mine and I love to be able to offer my skills and friendly, easy-going personality to families.
I enjoy travelling, cooking, being creative, singing and walking in my spare time.
I am reiki trained (Level 2) and offer reiki treatments. I have home retreat days available for mums who need a break and time for some self care, mindfulness and pampering. Please get in touch for more info.
I have a full enhanced DBS on the update service (updated April 2024), Ofsted recognised paediatric first aid with Tiger Lily training (April 2024) and my own car and clean license.
I am available for Wednesdays year round as a longer day as well as Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings term time only.

My Experience
I am a qualified teacher and have also been a nanny for 5 years for children aged 6 months- 13 years.
I have worked full time as a reception and year 1 teacher as well as a music teacher and singing tutor for a total of 12 years. I have taught all year groups from nursery to adults and have taught in a wide variety of settings including private lessons, small groups, formal school settings, choirs, school choirs, summer camps and at an English language school in Mexico.
I have been working with reiki for over 3 years and have seen some remarkable results.

My Availability
I am available for some days/weeks this summer as well as ad hoc nannying days, evening babysitting and I am available for tailored home retreat days where I can cook, clean, babysit, offer reiki treatments, massage, meditation sessions and generally help to re-establish balance and calm in the household.
