About Me
Hello my names Becky, I am 27 years old. I’m mummy to two girls aged 3 and 6months old. I’m looking at getting back in to work after having over a year off. I have studied Level 3 Health and Social care at college. I have previously worked in various nurseries over 3 years which helped me gain a lot of experience with working alongside the EYFS and I have also gained knowledge on how to maximise children's development and how to support them along the way. I have been working as a nanny for over 9 years. I have been babysitting for over 11 years. I started small babysitting jobs from the age of 14. I have had experience with working with a very busy households, I was looking after 4 children at a time, I must say it was very hands on, but we had lots of fun. I am able to drive and have my own car.
I am confident at meal planning and cooking.
I love spontaneous days out.
Finding play groups and organising play dates I feel is a must with nannying. I am a very outgoing and bubbly person.
I love to plan fun and adventurous days out.
I am calm and patient, very chilled out and easy going.
I can become Ofsted Registered if requested.
I have had a uk full driving license for over 9 years.
My Experience
I have many references of past and present employers. I had been working in a Nursery for a year and a half which I worked in baby room and also 3-5 year room. I have also been away to Spain during summer 2012 with a family to nanny for 2 weeks, this involved me supervising and looking after the children 24/7, I had to prepare and cook food, bath duties, dressing, putting to bed, make each day fun by arranging activities (lots of swimming), this experience I really enjoyed.
I have lots of newborn experience, I have two girls of my own. I love being a mummy! I felt very lucky as I was very clued up as I had previously worked with a newborn.
I’ve had the pleasure of preparing children for nursery and school.
I have worked with a child who was behind on speech and language which meant me having to carry out activities each day that would help improve their speech.
I am very organised and always up to date with what playgroups are on in the areas I’m working.
I have experience with organising after school activities and making sure the kids are kept busy and having a generally fun time.
My Qualifications
I'm on the DBS update system.
I've passed my paediatric first aid certificate
I've been on many training courses based around children's development, I've also been on a safeguarding course.
