About Me
Hi my name is Julie and I love looking after children. I work with my daughter Holly, which allows us lots of flexibility for nursery pick ups, school pick ups and outings out. I am a fully ofsted registered and insured childminder and I provide a home from home environment and do many fun and educational activities as well as lots of trips out to kids play, East carlton park, indoor wicksteed park and outdoor wicksteed we take pic -nics there in the summer time. We also attend the local toddler groups and parks as well as having story time at home and lots of cuddles. I have many toys play houses slides ride on toys scooters dolls buggies train tracks books etc and a big enclosed rear garden for your child to come and play and explore in.
My Experience
I have always loved looking after children and after i had my 4 children i started studying to go to university. During my studies a friend asked me to look after her two boys, they were the same age as my two girls at the time 7 and 9 and their mum said if i registered as a childminder the company she worked for would pay for her childcare fees. I registered and started getting calls and i couldn't believe how much fun me and the children were having and i was doing something i loved so much so that i stopped my studies and concentrated on building my childminding business. 17 years later i have looked after many many children some are grown up now and they pop in to visit us saying that our house was their second home.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in childcare
First aid
Level 1 teaching swimming.

Managing children's behaviour
Access into higher education Sociology Psychology and Biology.
