About Me

Hi my name is Lyndsey and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder.

I'm a hard working, trustworthy and honest lady who loves spending time teaching and nurturing children of all ages. I offer a home from home setting with a lovely garden for the children to explore. I'm very caring and devoted to the children whilst making sure their educational and disciplinary needs are met each and every day. I enjoy local playgroups, soft plays, farms and outdoor activities with the children. I have yearly passes for kew gardens, national trust parks, hobbledown farm park as well as a full Merlin pass, So enjoy lots of adventures with the children. I also love art, craft and cooking when based at home.

I have one Daughter who is ten years old and is at full time school. Her school is a three minute walk from our house, which is great for her drop off and pick ups. She is very friendly and loves playing with the little ones before and after school.

I attend lots of local toddler groups and enjoy taking the children to the local parks, libraries and soft play centres as stated above.
I drive and have a full British licence.

The children in my care will be offered a healthy balanced diet and healthy snacks throughout the day.

My Experience

I worked as a nanny for 15 years.
I have always worked with children and love to watch and help the them grow and develop.
I have lots of experience with babies from newborn to 12 years old and have lots of written references for you to read when considering me as your childminder.

I am NNEB trained and have an up to date first aid certificate. As well as Ofsted registered and up to date safeguarding certificate.
All written references are also willing to give verbal references if required.

I also am a qualified primary school teacher, which comes in helpful with childminding.

I have been working as a childminder for 8 years now and loving the change from teacher to childminder.
I have a large range of toys and equipment to stimulate and educate the children in a safe and secure environment.

Excellent

I couldn't speak highly enough of Lyndsey. My daughter has been with her for about 6 months now and loves going to Lyndsey, her speech, manners and understanding of the world have come on so much and I couldn't imagine how I'd cope without her :)
