Hello,
I am seeking to register as a Self Employed, ad hoc/temp nanny in January 2025. I will be looking to cover my local areas of Marden, Paddock Wood, Maidstone, West Malling, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks areas as a live out nanny. I would also happily consider working in London as a live-in nanny. My husband and I are moving from East Anglia to the Tonbridge area to be nearer to family in December 2024.
I am a patient, caring, loving and very responsible mature nanny who loves to see children play, learn and grow through their developmental stages gaining a good sense of themselves and the world around them. I am flexible, honest and am an excellent time keeper. I ensure that children under my care thrive in a safe and happy environment.
I enjoy a variety of fun and educational activities. I love arts and crafts creating masterpieces through painting and sticking (don't be surprised if I save toilet rolls for creations and you see paint in between toes during bathtime!) I love sensory play and singing, although my singing voice has a lot to be desired! I also enjoy swimming, baking, playgroups, playdates, music groups and being adventurous outdoors exploring woods and playing in parks, and of course, puddle jumping! I am exceptionally experienced at giving unlimited love and cuddles including any pets in your home.
I am a qualified nanny (NVQ level 3) with excellent contactable references from both the UK and overseas.
My credentials are as follows:
20 plus years nanny experience.
2 years working in a USA Military Childcare Centre (baby room).
2.5 years working as bank nursery practitioner in a nursery setting (present role).
12 hour Paediatric First Aid (due to be renewed in January 2025).
DBS clearance on the update service.
Own car and Business Insurance.

My Experience
I have 20 plus years nanny experience working both within the UK and overseas with children from birth to teens. I also have experience working in a nursery abroad and presently work as bank practitioner in a nursery in the UK. I have experience with weaning, potty training, twins, taking care of a child on the Autism Spectrum, multiples, proxy parenting and homework. I have a 'can do' attitude and am happy to do light housework such as emptying the dishwasher, buying essential food such as milk/bread as and when needed.
